Loki woke abruptly from his sleep. He didn't know where he was at first, wrapped tightly in sheets that were not his own, and smelling a faint perfume that was definitely not his own. He heard sounds coming from outside the bedroom, and he strained his ears to see what it was. His eyebrows knitted together when he heard the faint melody of a song, though he didn't recognise it at all.
He suddenly remembered where he was. In Halldora's bed chambers. He smiled to himself, clutching the sheet to his chest. He chuckled for a moment, pulling the sheet around him and standing up. He walked towards the door frame before stopping in his tracks at the sight that greeted him.
Halldora was washing the dirty dishes from the day before. That was normal enough, Loki thought, except she was moving extraordinarily to the song in the background. He listened closely to the words, noticing how she followed them.
It's just a jump to the left,
And a step to the right,
Put your hands on your hips,
And bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust, that really drives me insane.
Let's do the Time Warp again!
Loki chuckled watching her, but as she turned around and saw him he became nervous. What if she wanted to be alone? "Oh, morning Princess!" She said, addressing him cheerfully even though she was surprised by him.
"Why the sudden feminine term?" Loki asked, raising his voice above the song.
Halldora giggled, "Nice sheet dress Silvertongue, though I don't know how modest it is," she placed her hands on her hips and smirked at him.
Loki suddenly realised she was wearing a dress. A short, Midgardian dress that flared at her hips. He hadn't realised yesterday how curvy she was, she'd been covered up with clothes, but today he saw everything. He was glad that he was wrapped in the sheet now. She looked ravishing. "Uh," he murmured, not being able to find words.
She raised an eyebrow at him. "Cat got your tongue? It's a shame, I really enjoyed our banter," she said, smiling at her victory.
At the sound of banter Loki suddenly collected himself, listening to the strange song again. "What is this madness?" He asked.
"Oh, it's a Midgardian musical. Like a play, but with songs woven into the story. I don't like many, but I do enjoy this one." She said, swaying her hips to the song once more. Loki almost groaned watching her, but his confusion overtook him again.
