"Lady Wordsmith, at what time do you plan on exiting the bathroom?" Loki asked, getting a little impatient. He didn't want to rush her, of course, but he was concerned about how long she'd been inside.
"Just sit down, I'll be five more minutes," she called out, shuffling around as she got all the pieces together. She had both their costumes in there, as well as a special present for Loki that she'd been working on for weeks. She wanted to keep him guessing for as long as possible. She straightened her fringe and pinned it to the side, before walking out of the bathroom. Loki was looking nervously at the floor as he waited for her, and she wondered whether he was worried.
She coughed to let him know she was out, and he looked up. His jaw dropped immediately at he looked at her. Or rather, her head. Balancing perfectly on her head was a golden helmet with two large horns protruding from the front. Loki's helmet. "How?!" He breathed, quickly getting up to look at it closer.
"I made it out of foam and spray paint," Halldora replied, "Do you like it?" She asked, seeing how excited he looked even though he was struggling to hide it.
"Why?" He breathed again, still surprised and believing it was a trick.
"Well, I know that, sometimes, when you get confused with Midgardian things you get upset. And this generally means you get angry with me. So, I thought that instead, whenever you're upset you can wear the helmet and strut around like you're still on Asgard to feel better!" Halldora replied. Loki smiled. A big, sweet smile that he rarely wore in front of anyone else.
"I love it," he said, looking into her eyes. She wanted to lean closer to him, but her curiosity got the better of her and she stepped back. She took the helmet off and gave it to Loki. She kind of wanted to see what Torri meant when she said 'she'd find out how Loki feels'. While it would've been fun to kiss Loki and hide it from Torri, Halldora wanted to try Torri's way first. Loki took the helmet off her instantly and looked up, giving her what she could best describe as puppy eyes.
