"No way!" Torri cried, looking at Halldora with her jaw to the floor. she was much louder than Halldora wanted, but she knew her friend would be too excited to quieten down. "So you actually did the bedroom dance! Finally!" She continued, giving Halldora a wide smile.
Halldora's face lit up like a watermelon, and her cheeks grew hot. "Torri, come on, it's not that big of a deal," she muttered, hoping her friend would take the hint.
"But, he's like the first guy, ever, right?" She asked, looking astounded, "It's totally a big deal! If it wasn't 8 in the morning id be buying you drinks to celebrate," she said, taking a mouthful of her breakfast. They sat outside their usual coffee shop, and Halldora was beginning to notice how quiet the rest of the customers had gotten. Like they were listening in.
"Torri, please," Halldora said, attempting to change the subject, "so, what happened after you guys left?" She asked.
"Oh no. No, no, no, you can't just tell me something like that and expect me to gloss over it!" Torri said, catching her, "Well? Come on, tell me what it was like!" She said, almost squealing.
"Torri! That's private!" Halldora whispered, raising her eyebrow.
"Excuse me! I think I have some privileges, seeing as I was the one who got you two together," Torri replied.
"Yes, you did a perfect job with that," Halldora replied, obviously sarcastic.
"Come on Halldora! I'm your best friend," Torri pouted, pleading with her.
Halldora sighed, wondering how best to tell her without getting Loki in trouble in the future. "It was, well," Halldora muttered, trying to find the words to describe him, "it wasn't what i had expected," she blurted, speaking honestly.
"Oooo! What happened? He didn't hurt you did he?" She asked, suddenly frowning to make sure Halldora was okay.
"No! He didn't hurt me, it was just-,"
"Just what?"
"It was amazing, and soft," Halldora said, but Torri wasn't ready for her to stop yet. "It was a side I'd never seen from him before," she continued, "he wasn't, well, he wasn't," she mumbled, stumbling over the words because her mind had gone blank.
"Wasn't what? Halldora, tell me," Torri said, looking at her seriously, "Was it not what you'd hoped? Did he ruin it?" She asked.
"No, of course not," Halldora said, looking down at her coffee, "he was as nervous as I was," she blurted, making Torri smile.
She gasped, getting excited, "Wait, is he an innocent too!" She asked.
"Well, not anymore," Halldora smirked to herself.
"Well, I am very impressed," Torri said, sitting back in her chair, "I can't believe Peter Pan was an innocent flower too, I mean, you wouldn't expect him to be," she said, honestly mystified.
