As Courtesy and I walk to the back of the building I hear small footsteps quickly run across from the room. For a moment I stand still and I hear the footsteps again. Then a small laugh is heard from Courtesy. "James, I know your up. Come out and greet our guest." She says as the small footsteps walk up to us. I turn my head down to where the footsteps stopped and smiled. "This I Y/N. She's going to stay with us for a bit. I want you to behave while she's here." I hear a small voice agree. "Good, now go help her to bed."
Once she said that I feel a small hand take mine and I smile softly. "This way Miss, Y/N," James says shyly as we walk. He stops me for a moment and I hear a bit of shuffling. Then he once more takes my hand and helps me to the bed. "Is there anything I can get you Miss, Y/N?" He asks.
"No, I'm fine. Also, no need for the Miss. Just call me Y/N." I say smiling at him. I hear him then shyly walk out of the room and I fall asleep.
-Courtesy's Pov-
That girl sure has been through a lot. Ending up with an awful master after her last one died. Growing up not knowing who your parents are. Losing her parents as an infant. I feel bad for her. Although I could get some answers about her powers.
I walk out of the back and into the shop. I sit at the table silently as I write down a magic circle. For a moment I close my eyes waiting for the spirits to answer. Then it happens, the temperature drops as the candles blow out. I open my eyes to see a man and a women sitting in front of me. They look at me confused but I simply just smile. "I know you have some questions. But, I need you to answer a few of mine first."
"Just answer this. How are we here?" The women asked taking the mans hand lovingly.
"My magic. I am a necromancer. I am-" I was cut off by the man.
"We know what a necromancer is. That's all we needed. What do you need?" He asked softly.
"I want you to tell me about your daughters magic and what happened to Judal." The man and the women looked at each other with worried eyes. "Don't worry your daughter is safe. She is here if you want to see her."
"Maybe later. Now, for our daughters magic, we do not discuss this with others. It's too risky." The women said softly and I nodded understanding. "For Judal, he is fine. He fought for our daughter's safety and we would like it if you thanked him for that. Once he is conscious."
"He is not conscious?" The man shakes his head sadly.
"Not at the moment. But, he will come back in just a few hours. Judal was taken out by the assassin a few moments after our daughter ran out. Luckily it was only a small injury that knocked him out." The man said smiling a bit. "I might not like that man but, he has taken good care of our daughter. I think I can speak for the both of when I say we want her to stay with him. It would benefit her a lot."
"I will see to it my self that this happens. Now, I know that your daughter has her magic locked away. How does she get it back? How does she break the curse?" The women looked down and the man sighed softly.
"I don't remember exactly. But, I believe I said that she must find love." The women said. All I do is raise a brow.
"Is this going to be a true loves kiss thing?" She laughs softly.
"Close but, she must believe in that love. She must trust them with her heart. It could be broken anything like her own will or something like a kiss." The man looked slightly annoyed at the women. "Don't even say anything." The women said almost reflexively.
"I'm sorry I'm overprotective over my only daughter."The women and I look at each other and laugh softly. "Shall we go see our daughter, my love?" The women nodded her head as they both stood up and walked to the back.
I waited in the front room for a moment. They both came back and sat down quietly. "Is that all you needed miss?" The women asked. I nodded to answer.
Just a quick as they appeared they both disappear like smoke. I got up and walked into the back to see my brother laying in bed asleep. Smiling I walk past him to my own bed. Once my head hits the pillow I'm instantly asleep.
