At the End

She never really cared for boys except for her baby brother Clark. He's always the most handsome guy next to her dad.

"Hindi ka ba aware na may mga nagkakagusto sa'yong mga lalaki sa school, Sharlene?"
Nangalumbaba sa harapan nya ang kaibigang si Mariko. Kinunutan nya ito ng noo. She kind of know where this conversation is going.

"Why? Your admirers are all hot. Kung meron mang pangit, mas madami naman ang gwapo! If I were you, I'd probably date all of them."
Halakhak nito.

"If that's the case, mukhang mas marami ka namang lalaki. If you want, you can date all of them. I don't really mind."
She shrugged. For all she cares about boys. They are all the same.

It's not like she hate boys because she was broken once or for some other reasons. Hindi lang talaga sya nagmamadali. She find relationships at a young age shallow and fleeting. Kaya naman kahit mayroon syang nakikitang mga sulat sa kanyang locker ay hindi sya kailanman nagkainteres na buksan iyon at basahin.

Girls her age and people her age usually exaggerates the feeling of liking someone which sometimes leads to obsession that's not healthy for an individual. Liking someone and loving someone are a two different things. Loving someone and an obsession are far different from each other. Crushing isn't liking. Liking isn't loving and Loving isn't an obsession. Totally different to each other and cannot be together as one as you show what you really feel towards a particular person. Kahit minsan sa obserbasyon nya ay nagkakahalo halo at nagkakasabay sabay.

Masyado pang confused. Hindi alam ang totoong nararamdaman. Magtatapos lang ang hindi siguradong bagay sa isang siguradong kalalagyan, pag aaksaya ng oras. Because you misunderstood what you really feel. You are confused so you got to choose something like an exaggeration of your feelings which sometimes you cannot be responsible for. Hindi mo kayang panindigan.

Love is a good thing and at the same time too sacred for her. Hindi iyon ginagawang biro o minamadali. You take risk for it because it is something you should fight for.

"How about meeting them with me? One by one? Kasama mo ako?"
Mariko beamed. Suggesting a very bad idea. She made a face.

"No way. I'd rather talk to my Cloud and sleep the whole day than meeting insignificant people."
She rolled her eyes and stood up; Dismissing all of her friend's crazy ideas.

When someone likes you, it's not necessary to meet them unless you want them to know or to assume that you feel the same way too. You'll be a total bitch for that. Giving them false hopes and crushed their hearts after you rejected them. At hindi nya iyon gawain. Mas lalong hindi nya gawain ang magsayang ng oras sa ganoong klase ng bagay.

But Mariko once said to her that when someone likes a person they won't stop showing it until you notice them and just after that, someone named Donato Antonio Pangilinan came into her life unexpectedly.

He's definitely an annoying person. He's creepy. He suddenly appears outta nowhere and talks as if he knows a lot about her. He follows her around and she doesn't have any single idea why. Because she knows, he's someone who plays around with girls; Pretty and sport girls that's what she heard from Mariko dahil minsan ay nababanggit ng kaibigan nya sa kanya ang mga pinaggagawa nito sa buhay kagaya ng pagiging mapaglaro sa mga babae.

Hindi nya alam kung bakit sya nito pinag-aaksayahan ng oras. She's nothing compared to her girls na mushy and playful. Ni wala sya sa circle of popular girls in school. She's just an ordinary girl who knows nothing and who doesn't care about boys, dating and playing around.

Kaya naisipan nyang baka kaya lang sya nito inapproach ay dahil may kailangan ito sa kanya. Like he wants some help to his grades or what but turns out he wanted to be friends with her, something she didn't really expect.
