Coming back

I grind my teeth at the next round of apologies I owe, leaning on the door handle to regain some strength before I let myself in to the dorms. It's silent, the awkward glances my way and amazing speed at which phones are taken out to tap away on shocks me. I suppose I deserve it. With a sigh I kick Jungkook's runners off and head to the kitchen flicking on all the burners and starting to cook.

Xuimin's P.O.V.

The person who lives exclusively on energy bars and coffee is in the kitchen, actually cooking. I nudge Suho and he only glares at me, texting in the group chat.

*shes just playing another game, I don't have the patience to deal with it*

Yes, we all still have a separate group chat. At Suho's insistence and our relief.

*suho you're being too hard, Greys always been a little self centered.*

*she stormed out of the car in the heart of Seoul as a girl do you know how dangerous?!?!*

*Grey's more than a girl, don't we all know that by now?*

*shes still an asshole*

*an asshole with issues, can you blame her? It's been a hard run*

* I know.*

The group chat dies as we all simmer with our own thoughts, divided between worry and anger. Reality tv shows are all that's playing as we pretend to focus on a screen either phone or flat screen in an attempt to believe everything isn't wrong. Pretend Grey isn't back and seems to have us all wrapped into her crazy world. A new ping sound comes up, the old phone ringtone none of us have.

@greyisntagirlsname joined the group chat!

-dinners ready, no phones at the table.-

I glance up to see Grey leaning on the counter, new phone in hand and just the slightest crease of annoyance on her brow. There's plates of authentic Korean and Chinese food on the table, the smell somehow exactly like home.

"Table, now."

Grey says, practically ordering us to come eat.

"I think we need to talk-"

"Then come eat Junmeyon, you can talk then."

As we all slink over, quietly taking seats at the table that's barely used, she snatches Chen's phone and sets it on the counter, doubles the portion on Baekhyuns' plate muttering 'eat', and pulls out a chair for Suho.

"What sort of a game are you playing this time Grey?"

"The right one, sit down and eat. We eat together once a week from now on."

"Who says that's your decision?"

Suho says, glaring at Grey as she sits down opposite to him.

"I say it is because without it we are nothing more than a band, and we deserve to be family. We don't pray, we don't use our phones, and one person is not left with clean up, ever. I will cook once a week, no matter how busy we are or where in the world we are at."

"Who says, it's your, decision, Grey."

Suho repeats, arms folded across his chest as he glowers.

"I'm a professional chef and a retired manager Suho, I say it's my decision to take care of this band. You're the leader, but I am going to keep us together, because you are all worth it to me."

Hello hello I know you're all gone by now, it's been four months or so since the last update. Apologies, major apologies. I've got three jobs, an ex, a girlfriend, two girlfriends actually, and a blue bullet to drive around in. Doesn't mean I haven't missed writing, your comments, the silent views, being my shit show account...

This last chapter is short, and I'm wondering if we should wrap it up soon?
