When the night had completely taken over the day, Zack halted the army to camp for the night, this process had been going on for many days now and everyone had gotten used to this. After their usual patrol, Shadow decided to go and spend some time with the pups.
As he entered their tent, all of them were about to fall asleep already, but after seeing Shadow, they quickly jolted up awake, wanting to hear what he had to say.
Shadow: Sorry if I'm disturbing you guys from your sleep, but I just want to make a quick update of our progress.
Ryder: Sure, go ahead.
Shadow: Okay, so according to distance, we'll be reaching Elemental Valley by tomorrow noon if we're lucky.
Ryder: That's great.
Shadow: From there I think V might take over command for a while, just so to guide us to wherever Ghostly is hiding.
Ryder: Okay. That does sound pretty good for a plan.
Shadow: I hope it is.
Ryder: Done with your patrol?
Shadow: Yea, I finished early today.
Ryder: Cool.
Shadow: Okay, I better head back out, you guys have a good rest okay. Tomorrow's going to be quite a journey.
Ryder: Okay, see you tomorrow Shadow, good night.
Shadow: Night.
Shadow left the tent while the rest of the pups laid down on their sleeping bags and slowly falling asleep.
