Chapter 21

Kiran's POV

My mother-in-law was already waiting for me by the time i reached .

" Hi Kiran ! what happened ? Why did you ask me to meet me here alone ? " she asked

" Hi mom ! I met Neha today . She is pregnant and is very weak . She needs proper food and complete rest " I said

She nodded.

" Mom , please don't judge her for being pregnant . She is actually married and is having trouble .  I know you like her already . I will somehow find the solution and make her marriage successful . Meanwhile please take care of her " i said emotionally

" Kiran , Is there something else i should know ? she asked

" Mom , she is Sweety I told you about . I'm a useless brother . She has lots of problems and here I'm not even recognizing her " I cried

"You know what mom ? She wants to give her child to her brother who is me  since I cannot have kids . "

" What ? she is Sweety ? Don't worry Kiran I will take care of her . I already feel her as my own daughter . Find her husband before Siri's marriage . Otherwise she will go back . But how did she know that you can't have kids . Even Siri doesn't know " she asked shocked

" I will go and pick Megha from your home and go , then you go home mom . Otherwise Sweety will suspect I told you something " I said 

I went to pick Megha but Siri said she already went to my home after dropping her and Sweety is sleeping . It is the right time to speak to Siri but if I talk here , Sweety might wake up . I can't leave her alone by taking Siri outside . As I was thinking , my mother-in-law came and I took her permission to take Siri out .

We went to ice cream parlor .

"  I know you wanted to speak something important . Please tell me whatever it is " she asked

" Siri , does Neha love anyone ? " I asked

She was surprised by my question and nodded no . Siri is been friends with Sweety for 2 years . How is it possible that she doesn't know .

" Think Siri . She definitely loves someone . She might have told you something . Don't ask me how I know and why I'm asking . I will tell you when the time comes " I said

She thought for a while and said " she said that she has feelings for someone but didn't know if he feels the same about her. I thought it is just a crush . She was just 16 when her feelings for him started and he didn't contact her till now "

" Till you were in USA she couldn't meet him . They might have met again in these 6 months " I said guessing . There is less chance that Sweety loves someone else deeply and marry in 3 months

" She would have told me bava ( brother-in-law)" 

After thinking for a while , she suddenly shouted " Oh my god ! Why didn't I think about it ? When I left USA , she was really sad for a month . Then she seemed to be very happy and even said she has a big surprise for me and will come to India soon . I asked her but she said its a surprise . I didn't ask her much as I was really busy with Arjun's company's work  

That makes sense . She met him again 5 months back, married him after 2 months and now she is pregnant . Her husband is getting married to someone . He lives in India as she came here to meet him. Sweety said he would be more happy if she gives her baby to me . So he might be someone I knew . But who is he ? How would I find him ? I got an idea

" Siri , I need your help " and I said my plan to her

I dropped Siri  and went  home . I found Megha sitting in living room in deep thoughts . She didn't even notice me .

" Megha , What's wrong " I asked

" I don't know exactly what it is but I feel something is wrong with Arjun . He doesn't seem to be himself . We arranged his marriage with his consent but since then there is no happiness in his face . When I asked , he said it is work tension . But I feel it is not the reason . I see Arjun as my son . I cannot see him like this . Please talk to him and do something  " she said worriedly
