I lied there in my bed, staring at the ceiling with my eyes wide open. Jungkooks words lingered in my head over and over again.

"I love you."

I couldn't believe he really said that. Seokjin was right with everything he said. How could I not notice?

"I love you."

I didn't know what to think about it. I was scared of seeing Jungkook again, to talk to him again. He probably wouldn't remember what he said. He would act normal like I didn't know. But now I did. I tried to convince myself that he was just talking nonsense or was not really meaning it.

I looked at my phone. 3 am. Fuck. Three hours left, but I just couldn't fall asleep. There was still so much adrenaline left in my body. I felt my heart racing and my body shaking. I still didn't eat since the last morning and I felt weak because of it.

I suddenly remembered again, why I'm usually not really in contact with any boys. They always made my life harder, besides Jungkook, of course. He was the only friend I ever had.

"Jandi, darling. Say hello to the neighbour boys, be a good girl.", my mother said to my 6-year-old self and pushed me to step forward.

The Parks moved into our neighbourhood only recently.

"Ew, boys are stupid!", I screamed in disgust and hid behind the legs of my mother. She looked at me shocked and harshly moved me in front of her.

"Jandi! I told you to be a good girl!", she said quietly but in a harsh tone.

Mrs. Park laughed and stroke the head of her younger son.

I finally stepped forward, still avoiding eye contact

"Jandi, what a pretty young lady you are!", Mrs. Park said, kneeling down to me and smiling warmly. I looked into her face for the first time, shy like I was. Her smile became bigger, which made her eyes become small.

"These are my boys, Jimin and Jungkook."

"Hello...", I said quietly.

"Hello.", the older one said.

I looked at him, then at the younger one. When our eyes interlocked, he quickly looked away, holding his red cheeks. Our mothers giggled at the cute situation.

"Seems like Jandi and Jungkook will become good friends soon!"
