The feeling of his breath against my ear sent shivers down my neck and made me suddenly really quiet. Namjoon moved back slowly, trying to hide his smile as he looked down the street.

"Seems dangerous for a girl all alone at a place like this, but I guess you know better.", he said while turning his back towards me and slowly walking away.

"Namjoon, wait!", I said as I hopped out of the car and tried to catch up with him.

We walked towards a huge building, secured with a code at its entrance. Namjoon started typing the code in, as I looked at him confused.

"What are you doing?"

"What are you doing? Look away! Top secret."

I rolled my eyes and waited for him to open the doors.

"How do you know the code?"

Namjoon laughed a bit, ignoring my question and walked towards an elevator.

"Answer me."

He pressed on the button and waited for the elevator to arrive, ignoring me completely. As soon as the doors opened, he got inside and looked at me expectantly.

"I'm not going in until you answer me.", I said, crossing my arms.

Namjoon sighed loudly and reached for my arm, dragging me into the elevator.

"Ouch!"

"Stop acting like a child.", he said with a deep voice, looking at me while slightly furrowing his brows.

I quickly looked away, feeling my cheeks turn red. Maybe I went too far. After minutes of awkward silence, Namjoon finally said something.

"I'm not a criminal. My dad's office is in this building. That's why I know the code."

His deep and serious voice intimidated me and I couldn't understand why I felt so attracted to him. After all, he was a stranger to me and the things I knew about him weren't really positive.

We arrived at the final floor and Namjoon walked towards a barricaded stairway, over which he carelessly jumped.

I stopped in front of it at and looked at Namjoon annoyed.

"That's definitely not allowed."

He just smirked and reached for my hand to help me. As I held it and tried to get over the barricade, I somehow lost balance and fell onto Namjoon. He caught me easily and held me in his arms for a while.

It felt like an eternity, being so close to him, feeling his warmth and hearing his heartbeat. He slowly let go of me again and warmly smiled at me, after moving some hair strands out of my face.

I caught myself staring at him while admiring his features, that made my heart beat faster.

"Let's get going.", he said, giving me one last smirk and continuing walking up the stairs.
