"Did something like that ever happened to you before?"
His voice was worried and more serious than usual. I looked down at my fingers, still dressed in the big black hoodie that must've belonged to Namjoon.
"No."
It was still hard remembering what happened. I just know that I felt awful and that Namjoon was shouting hysterically while driving me to the hospital. But as soon as I tried to remember more details, the pain in my head became stronger.
We arrived at my home and I looked over to Seokjin, who was looking at me the same way he did when we met for the very first time.
"You can stay at my place for a few days if you want.", he calmly spoke.
I looked at my phone's display and figured out that Jungkook had to be at a lecture now. If he's not skipping again.
"Your doctor said you should avoid stress. And I feel like those guys are causing you a lot of it."
Seokjin smiled so cutely, it filled my heart with warmness.
"I'll stay until tomorrow, and then I will drive to my parents' home. Is that okay?"
"Absolutely."
I quickly walked upstairs and packed some of my stuff into a bag. To my luck, Jungkook wasn't there.
I switched my phone off and laid it on my pillow.
No stress
I felt like I had to leave Jungkook a message, at least tell him I'm still alive. So I took a piece of paper and wrote a short note on it.
I'm fine
I'll be back in a few days
-JandiI felt horrible and I got dizzy again, so I quickly left the apartment and got back into Seokjin's car.
There was soft music playing inside and all that time he smiled at me, reassuring me that it was fine.
"Don't you have to work today?", I asked when he started to drive.
"I work at my dad's company so it's fine."
I remembered how he entered the hospital in a black suit earlier and all the nurses started wowing about how handsome he looked. They were suddenly acting all weird and jealously watched us leave when he picked me up.
We arrived at an expensive looking place, very suiting for someone like Seokjin. It made me feel completely out of place.
"You're living alone, right?", I asked while we got inside.
He hesitated a bit and took a deep breath.
"My ex moved out a while ago."
His home looked even nicer inside, all decorated and thought through. It was huge for someone to live alone in.
"Do you want coffee?", he asked and disappeared in the kitchen as soon as I nodded.
I walked around a while and saw that Seokjin had a lot of pictures on the walls.
Pictures with friends, pictures of him at amazing places, pictures of his family. But he had so many photos of one particular person, they seemed to mean a lot to him.
"Seokjin? Who's that girl?"
Seokjin came back with two coffees in his hands and in more comfortable clothes.
"My sister."
I looked at a picture of both of them, smiling brightly and hugging each other. It made me smile a bit.
"You two seem to be very close."
He took a long sip from his coffee.
"We were."
I watched him as he walked over to the couch, sinking into it and I quietly got next to him. He wasn't saying anything for a few minutes, just looked down at the coffee in front of him.
The warm smile on his face was gone and his eyes looked empty.
"Thank you, Seokjin.", I said and reached for his hand.
He immediately took mine in his and held it tightly.
