You are like the moon,
You can be bright
Or dark.
You can light up my night
Or make it as dark as can be.
You can help me see through the darkness
Or you can let the darkness consume me.
You used to be my bright light in the night sky,
But now your light does not shine for me,
And I am surrounded by the darkness,
You were supposed to keep away.
