Chapter 28: The End

Several hundred years later

Caroline Forbes

"Freya be nice to your sister." I try to pry apart my adult children as they tumble past me. "Klaus a little help here?"

"What's the pro-." He chuckles under his breath at the sight. "Just let them mess around. We only have them this week love."

"I know but I'd rather they spend this time getting along rather than fighting." Klaus wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me in for a kiss.

"Ew get a room." Freya and Lindsey separate when they see us kissing.

"Don't act like both of you haven't kissed anyone." They both scoff in response as I pull Klaus to our room. "Good thing we got our room spelled right?"

"That was your marvelous idea." He quickly slides his shirt over his head and tosses it across the room. "Thought we were spending time with our children?"

"I'm making an exception this one time." I rid myself of all my clothes before Klaus tosses me into the bed. "I love you."

"As I love you. Always and forever."
