Titus POV

I drop the bowl of cereal and run up to Char's room with Royce and Cata not far behind. I bust open the door and find her still lying on the bed. I run to her side and shake her.

"Char! Char! Wake up Char"

Blood drips from her nose. That means she is having a vision

"Get the doctor." I say to no one.

"Get the damn doctor Royce" I scream

He sprints out of the room. Suddenly she grips unto my shirt and says

"She is escaping....Stop her...... if you don't all power will be lost. She will take over"

"Everybody leave the room." the doctor screams

Blood seeps from her ears and unto my hands. I run out of the room. My mate she must be awake. I slam the door open, the bed is empty but a scent still lingers, all I see is her bloody bandage on the bed and the vent unscrewed.

"No"

Find her

I run to every room in the palace. Her smell is everywhere, she is very smart. I run past the kitchen, then turn when I hear the clatter of metal.

"Wait" I call after her. She turns to me but doesn't look me in the eye. Three rapier swords lay steadily on her back.

Where did she get those from.

She looks strong.

My Luna, my queen.

"What is your name" Silence meets my question

Why does she not answer

I take a step closer and she just keeps moving back.

Guys in kitchen I mind link

"My wolf hates rejection" I growl

"Get used to it." Her voice. I feel my heart drop, why is she doing this. She acts as if she doesn't know the effect she has on me. For the first time Alec is quiet.

Alpha what is wrong. Royce mindlinks

She glances at the doorway as if she knows they are coming. How?

She releases her sword and place it at my neck. She can kill me if she pleases. I have no reason to live if she is not here with me.

She doesn't want us.

Blood drips down her sword, she looks straight at my heart. Her face stays cold but her eyes soften.

She walks to the window ledge looks at me and scoffs. She jumps out the window and by the sound of clothes ripping, I know she has shifted. I fall to the ground on my knees and Alec takes over, he runs to the window and sees her wolf run into the forest.

"Char is stable now King Alpha" Cata informs me

"She is not human" I whisper

"What"

"Her wolf just ran into the forest away from the border of the moon kingdom"

"We will get the Beta and go after her"

"No, it's useless. She moves too fast"

"Should I call a doctor, you are bleeding, did she do that" she touches my neck

I flinch away as if she has burned me

"No one can touch me unless my mate......just because you are my Gamma's mate doesn't mean anything. Know your place. Understood."

"Yes Alpha King" she bows

I laid in bed that night thinking of nothing but her. Her silver hair, her eyes, the way she spoke, her beauty. It hurts knowing she doesn't want me but I want her even if it takes years. I will find her and make her mine. I would lay down my life for her.

I tried to speak to her wolf, she shut me out.

"You haven't spoken to me since she escaped. You blame me don't you" I ask him

You were too busy looking after a girl that isn't even your mate. You should have focused on our mate and now she's gone

"We will find her"

That's the only thing that's keeping me sane. I'm a ticking time bomb and she is the only one that can diffuse me before I blow.
