Solstice Part 2

Everyone in the ballroom looks at me either in adoration or bewilderment. One by one they begin to bow. I look at the so called Queen and Kings in front of me.

"Bow." I command. They stand still

"Do you not know who I am. I am your visionary."

"You're lying" King Titus screams. I look at him surprised.

"Why so angry beast. I can kill you like this." I snap my fingers. "Don't make me regret saving you"

"Leave everyone" Linwood shouts. No one moves

"Don't you remember, I am their leader" I turn the crowd. "Stand my subjects and return to your homes"

"Understood visionary." They all chant at the same time.

They disappear one by one. Refusing to look at me.

Better that way

Corasi gives me back control

You are more of a people person

"Now all of you. Why are you so sour. Jealous is it?" I scream

Ok, Maybe not

"We did not except this, you can't just show up and take everything we have worked for." Sabrina screams.

"Oh yes I can and you won't do damn thing about it" I counter

"You say you are the visionary prove it" Linwood says

"I don't have to prove anything to you." I spit

"I won't take it. Y-you" Titus stutters

"I have made a decision, I give you all three moons to decide to either ally or rebel."

Linwood looks away

"King of the Blood Kingdom, look me in the eye, what do you think of this?"

"I will have to return to the palace and ponder on it."

"I fully respect that, now take your shadows and leave" he flashes his fangs at me and disappears into smoke

"Now Sabrina, have you accepted it?"

"No I don't condone. Not at all. You threatened my companion."

"Excuses excuses" I grin

She raises her hand to slap me. I reach for it and twist her wrist back until I hear a pop.

"Remember your place, understood. You are lucky I didn't kill you on the spot"

She stares at me stunned and mumbles some enchantments and suddenly disappears

"Pathetic." I turn and see my mate in front of me. I look down at the floor. All my confidence seems to have flew out the window

"Look at me now" he growls

"No"

He grabs my chin roughly and I react by drawing one of my swords. I expect him to take a step back but he stays with his hand on my chin trembling.

"Please, I need you and-and"

"Stop, don't say words you don't mean"

"I mean them please look me in the eyes. I beg of you" he pleads

I stay looking down

"I-I love you"

I gasp in shock. I haven't heard those words in years, the last person that said that to me was my brother. Tears fill my eyes.

Control your feelings

I gulp back my tears

"You don't mean those words. You're infatuated with me, you don't love me. So stop this madness"

He steps closer pushing me to the wall. He looks at me

"If I don't mean those words Goddess strike me now."

"Take it back" I warn

"No. I love you"

In that moment I make the mistake of looking him in eye and the feelings come rushing in. The love, the hate, the want, the need, the lust, the desire. It hits me like a truck.

"Corasi help" I whisper

All I get back is a purr in return

"I'll give you two choices, Vee." He pushes me against the wall and begins to suck on my neck.

"Get off me." I begin to feel myself melting under his touch, he moves higher and nibbles on my ear

"Go back to the dwelling and live a life of pain without me"

He looks me dead straight in the eye. I can see his hazel eyes have turned darker. It hurts him to think of me in that state.

"Or stay with me safe and sound, with no worries and no pain"

I reach forward, running my tongue over the curve of his ear. He shudders.

I grip my sword in my hand and stab him in the thigh. As I watch the blood seep out

"Oh mate, no one ever makes choose" I smirk "I give you three moons, make your choice. Rebel or ally, wolfy. Now you choose"
