I run fast to the outside of the castle. How dare he come into my land and harm the people I love.

But my worry drowns my anger

Cosmo

I zoom to the front of it and look up to see her dangling from the rooftop, held by her neck

"It's Cosmo"

"What happened"

"We were talking in bed when something landed on the windowsill. It was a dead rabbit, Cosmo ran to help it saying "Elisa look" that's when a beast just grabbed her as soon as she got to the window. I ran to hold her up but it was too strong and pulled her down"

"Titus"

"Titus, give up this madness"

He's looks crazy, insane as he dangles Cosmo over the roof by her collar

He's not the man I saw just a few months ago. Just the look in his eyes let's us know he's broken. His mate left him.

"Give me back Jeana, my mate" he screams back.

Thunder rolls

"Give me the girl, she's a human, she has nothing to do with this" I sigh starting to lose patience

"Really because it seems she has a special connection with Jeana"

He releases a finger causing Cosmo to squeal

"Titus, stop it. Jeana's not yours anymore. You didn't treat her like your mate. You were in love with another, when she left you didn't even look for her, you slept around"

"Shut up, you know nothing"

"This is your last warning, Titus"

He laughs a wicked laugh

"You're lying to yourself you can't save her"

He checks his watch, tightening his grip on Cosmo's throat. She screams out in pain 

I grimace

"Cosmo, don't worry, you'll be fine" I shout. The rain pounds hard on my skin

Titus sniggers

"Oh I'm not talking about your human"

I go still

"What do you mean"

"She's dying, you know I can sense it. I'm only here to take her back, put her out of her misery" he says smugly

"How do you know"

Me being nervous is an understatement. I could sense it as well that Jeana was unwell, but wasn't really sure

"Isn't it obvious, she's dying. Her vampire side has been rejecting her wolf side. She's a visionary for God's sake what did you expect for Corasi to give up her one and only vessel"

The rain beats down on me and lightning sparks the air, charging it and also my anger. I watch as he takes in an impatient breath

"I give her about 11 days and she'll be torn inside out because of your selfishness. I swear on the Goddess if she dies, I will wage war on your kingdom and make sure you and every man, woman and child burns with it" He spits

Titus suddenly drops Cosmo, I zoom to catch her leaping through the air. We fly through the air and land hard on the ground. I watch as she curls into herself.

"Oh Cosmo, I'm so sorry" I brush the hair out of her face. Elisa appears beside me out of breath.

"Elisa take Cosmo back home. Get ready the Umbra Intiation starts today"

Elisa gasps but nods in understanding. We both know I'm hanging on a thread

Cause this might just kill Jeana
