I never knew all it took would be a face to make me snap

But it did

I soon as I saw Norris' face... I lost it

It took fifteen guards and me changing out of wolf form to calm down.

All because my mate wasn't there when I woke up. 

I thought she left me. I nearly lost my mind. 

"The visionary has arrived." Cata announces 

I get up first and begin to make my way to the door

"She wants to see the Beta only." I glare at him. 

If looks could kill he would be five feet under

Cata looks down 

"Upstairs.....in his bedroom"

Linwood bursts out laughing 

"This is just too good. Best entertainment I've seen from my 200 years of living. Maybe wants to reward your Beta" He chokes

Sabrina hits him "Shut up"

I look away

"Go Beta"

He reluctantly turns 

Jeana POV 

I know when his footsteps stop outside the door. 

When he opens the door. I am sitting on his bed. 

"Close the door" I whisper

He shuts it silently

"Olu start spilling the truth. No lying" I huff

"I don't-"

I place my sword right above his heart in one slick move

"I said no lying." My eyes flash "Or do you want to me to carve the truth out of you"

He sighs. 

"You knew it was me all along didn't you"

 "Answer me" I scream

"Yes J-Jeana. I knew it was you, ok!" He shouts 

"So you have the audacity to call be my name and also scream at me."

"I knew it was you the whole time. I tried staying away from you but you just kept finding a way to-"

"You tried to kill me"

"I wasn't trying to kill you. It was only a wake up call. That I'm not the same person...we are two different people now. We're broken and we can't be fixed"

Tears threaten to spill

"You came back." 

"I wanted to see you. But when I saw...mother and father.....they were...I couldn't....I just" he stammers

"You left me....you left me. You went back to the forest. You left me"

"I couldn't face them"

"Or you couldn't save me you coward." I scream.

 "Did you know I wasn't your sister"

"Yes" he sighs 

"Did you know you were going to become king, when they killed me"

"Yes"

"You knew my mother and father"

"Yes"

"Is that why you ran"

He gaps

"The day you kicked you ball into the forbidden forest. You hated football. You didn't even own a football. You went in there on purpose. You went in there knowing you wouldn't come out. You felt guilty"

"I didn't want to be king." He shouts. "Not after all the people that were hurt because of me"

"Hurt, my parents were murdered. In cold blood. Your wicked parents killed them. They took all the frustrations, the hate, the anger out on me for eight years dammit. Eight years. While you were here being treated with respect and love. You had people who cared about you"

"Jeana-"

"I was shunned. Left out. How dare you." I raise my sword

"How dare you" I throw it but it misses him and hits the wall right beside his left ear.

"Listen and listen good." My eyes flash white.

 "I came here to kill you but I have had a change of heart. You will go downstairs. You will tell everybody everything. Your heritage, about me, what you did. Then you will tell them that I have left, that I am never coming back. That they can return to their kingdoms, the coalition has been made. Understood"

"Yes" he mumbles

"Good, now time to take my leave"
