Jeana new look (short hair)^^^^

It's takes I while for me to focus, I try to rub my eyes but my hands are bound. Someone clears their throat.

I watch Queen Sabrina, the downcast look j her eyes as she stares down at me. I watch her carefully to shocked to even speak.

How did she find me?

How did she get in here?

Why is she even here?

I glower at her, seeing Linwood's blood coating my hands.

"You killed him"

I remember the light leaving his eyes

"You took him away from me"

I want to hit her, scream at her, watch her beg for mercy. The ropes chaff into my skin as I strain against them. The chair groans against my weight.

But all my energy disappears when I look at the small round bump where her once flat stomach was. I gasp out in shock and a sole ashamed tear slips down her porcelain cheek.

"When" my voice comes out as a small whisper but she manges to hear me

"I found out the night, you won the Delectus. Titus used it against me. My people would see my pregnancy as a weakness, they would over throw me" she sobs "I had no choice"

I process what she just said.

"You didn't have a choice" She looks surprised by my reaction.

"But you could have easily come to Linwood the man you called your friend and asked for help"

She scoffs "I'm not like you. I don't show my weaknesses and try to play them off as strengths"

I break eye contact with her, she's not lying. I've never acted strong a day in my life.

"Why are you here Sabrina?"

"I need you to come back to the Dust Kingdom with me. It's urgent"

"No"

"You have no one, I'm your only hope"

"Hope for what. Last time I checked, I didn't ask-"

"Titus and Olu are searching everywhere for you as we speak. He will find you eventually. You can't hide forever."

"This place is guarded by Visionary power"

She rolls her eyes "How did I find you then? Yes, I'm a witch but so is Charmion. You won't last more than three days. And from the things I've heard if they find you, your life span doesn't last very long"

"So I'll untie the ropes now and you'll go pack a bag and meet me outside"

She leans over slowly and looses the rope around my wrists.

I contemplate if I really need her. The clogs in my head turn.

What to do
What to do
What to do

I stand up and make my way to the bedroom, packing my bag as she watches me carefully. She really is my only hope. I really have no one. I guess I have to cooperate

I swing my bag on my pack and hold out my hand.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Jeana"

"My name is Queen Sabrina. You may call me Rina"

She mumbles some enchantments and I watch in admiration as the dust shimmers all around me

————————————————————

The Palace is absolutely stunning, completely the opposite of the Blood Kingdom. The sky is a light purple with wispy clouds. The castle shimmers in the sunlight. As we look form the balcony I notice the people are all dressed in bright light clothes. This most be the capital.

"My Kingdom is said to be the brightest around. The people never age. The sun always shines. We are powerful but we are known for our lack of emotion"

The silence passes between us

"Is that why you can't tell them about your pregnancy"

"My powers weaken for the short time I'm pregnant. The baby takes most of my power, so if my subjects know it is weakening, there might be plans of a rebellion. I'm not their favourite Queen"

"Who's the Father"

Her head snaps towards me, she looks everywhere but my face. My eyes narrow.

"Let's go eat" she whispers, her eyes shiny

"Sabrina" she halts but doesn't turn around but I'd be stupid to know she is crying.

"Trusting you is my decision, proving me right is your choice."
