Titus POV

"I asked you a question" she cries

I can't lie she will know. Tears brim her brown eyes. Maybe I should have told her truth. How do I get out of this one.

You can't. Tell her the truth. Tell her our true mate is right in front of us. You need to stop lying.

I open my mouth to explain but Royce rushes through the doors and bows.

"What is it" my mate asks

"Visonary, King Linwood has been spotted chained to trees near here"

She laughs, we all look at her stunned.

"That was fast" she says

My mouth hangs open in disbelief. Is that what she was doing with him. But why the pain.

"M-may I bring him here"

"Yes I have an announcement to make but first take Char here to the doctor"

Royce rushes over, he nods to me before picking her up. Char stares at me scornfully. We will come up with something. I've been lying to her for the past 6 years. The truth won't work. She'll never speak to me again. I am broken out of thought when Linwood storms in, He looks pale and sickly

"Linwood, sit please"

"You just chained me to a tree" he shouts. I'm surprised, this is the first time I've heard him raise his voice

"You tried to kill me. I won't say it again, sit down." She retorts. Sabrina and I watch in shock. She chained him to a tree as a punishment. She didn't even touch us.

She didn't have to, she made us punish ourselves

"Now listen. You all tried to kill me today. I won't take that lightly. I am supposed to help you yet you want to kill me. I am trying to bring peace to your lands but you dare all try and send an assassin to end my life. How dare you?" She spits

Kill her. I never sent an assassin. What is going on

"After the behaviour I saw today I won't go into a treaty with you three"

This is bad. The visionary is the key to harmony, things are ok when one doesn't exist but now she is here we need her to survive, I need her to survive

"I know what you are all thinking but you should have thought of that before trying to kill me"

"You said no punishments. It seems I got the worst one" linwood growls

"I specifically said no punishments tonight. As you can see it's light outside." She counters

"What was their punishment huh cause they sure weren't tied to a tree."

"Ask them not me. I have decided to give you a second chance though but it requires your co-operation. She continues We will all stay under the same roof in the moon kingdom. If I see you can all live in harmony I will continue with the coalition but if anyone steps out of line. I will not hesitate to leave a kingdom without a leader."

"I will leave you three to deliberate"

She heads for the balcony door.

I put my head in my hands.

"This is a crazy idea" Sabrina sighs

"It's better than our people dying" I say

"Our people, when did my people become your people"

"That doesn't matter. We can't take the offer" Linwood states

"Why" we ask at the same time

"She's out of our mind" he shouts

"We should try" I say. I want her to stay here, to be closer to my mate

"No I am not risking my kingdom." Sabrina says angrily

"Your kingdoms will die anyways" Linwood laughs

"We have no choice" I finalize

She walks back in a few minutes later.

"We accept" We chorus

"Good. Titus, call your servants to lead them to their rooms. You can take me to mine."

I know the game she is playing. She has something to tell me. Each leader leaves silently after bowing. We walk to her room in silence. The corridors are empty. Word must have spread fast that the visionary is here

We reach her door

"I hope you don't mind me staying here" She says

"No Visionary." I lie as I open the door

"Thank you." She walks and begins to close the door. Rage fills in me. I stop it before it closes and enter

"Are we not going to talk about what you did"

"What I did. What exactly did I do." She scoffs

"You and Linwood......"

She looks at me oblivious. This just angers me more

"Look at me. What did you do...with him"

"Why should you care. Watch your tone to me. I am your visionary"

"No you are my mate"

"Don't call me that"

"You know what......whatever just.... my room is down the hall if you need me but...I doubt you will"

She looks to the side and that's when I see it the bite mark prominent by the swelling around it. Alec begins to surface

I grab her face and look her directly in the eyes.

"You let him drink from you" I shout

She pulls way "So what. It was his punishment"

"You let him drink from you and you won't even look at me"

She sighs. "It was to weaken him"

"It was to give him pleasure. I can't stand around and let another man touch you."

She walks to the bed and sits "And I can't sit around and let another girl claim you as hers Titus"

"I was going-"

"Get out of my room" she sighs

I shake my head. "I'll get a maid to give you clothes."

I reach the door.

"For a man who told me he loved me. I never thought he would lie to me. Char is your mate. You know it's very rare for a Male alpha to hold two mates. Very rare."

"I know"

"So why lie"

"I told her she was my mate"

"Why....you knew your mate had yet to come"

"But what Titus spit it out."

"She lost her family because of me in return I had to lose my true mate"
