"You're awake" someone whispers beside me

"Cata" I smile weakly. "It's great to see you after all this while"

"The same to you" she fidgets with her fingers, looking petrified

"Where am I?"

"The Moon Kingdom"

I sigh, I really hoped I dreamed about Titus, I watch her slightly as she shifts in her seat.

"Titus is outside right?"

"No, we are the only ones in the house actually" she says

I can tell she's lying but I try anyway. I need to leave

"Cata, please can you let me go. I have no business here. I just want to go back to my husband"

Her hand flies across my face as her cheeks flare, her expression turns angry.

"Do you even know what we've been through. What I've been through and you still have the audacity to say such a thing. We suffered since the night that you disappeared, you know that. Our leader became a joke, a man without dignity. He left this kingdom to go look for you because he loved you. Beta Royce was ridiculed, my child became a laughing stock because her father couldn't do his job and keep his Alpha in line. You ran away and left everyone else to your mess, we had to toss crazy whores out of those doors each morning because you, you just couldn't stay."

My eyes start to burn furiously. I haven't been spoken to like that in a long time and it reminded me how much I hated it.

"Running into the arms of that bloodsucking bastard. You d-"

Her face snapped to the side, before she could finish her sentence

"Don't you ever, ever speak of him that way. I won't ask nicely again. Let me go"

"No" she spits

I sigh and shake my head watching her slightly back away to the door. As I edge closer to her I notice the bright ring gleaming on her wedding finger.

I reached over her limp body patting her down for the key. I walk to the door, unlocking it, before sprinting down the hallway.

Her mate would be there any minute. I curse under breath, maybe I shouldn't have hurt her that bad, she has a child now, but she deserved it.

I run around searching for any exit I can find. I run past a vase filled with roses, my body stops by itself. I pull a red rose from the vase closing my fist around it. I don't even notice my blood dripping down my arm.

He kisses my lips lightly

"I got you this"

He drags me through the house before stopping near a door.

"I've never been here before, Linwood" I whisper

"Close your eyes" he smiles

I open my eyes to a glass room filled with white, black and red roses reaching every corner of the room with a tiny walkway down the middle.

"I got it restored for you. Cosmo and Elisa helped me. Do you like it" his bright eyes shone. It's times like this I saw the boy in him, the man I fell in love with, not the closed off Vampire King

"I love it" I throw myself into him "This is the nicest thing anyone has done for me"

I wasn't lying it really was

"Good, it was this or your own room and I know you would have hated that" he smirks

I kiss him passionately pulling at the roots of his hair as he tightened his arms around my waist. I leave his lips attacking his neck with sloppy kisses.

My warm breath touch his ear.

"I would have. I find sharing with you much much better"

A hand grabs my hair pulling me backwards, a harsh slap to the face snapping me back to reality. My cheeks now wet with tears begin to sting

"You tried to run away again" he hisses

"Why can't you just love me huh. I love you. Do you love me" his voice softens and he hugs me

Ugly screams escape from my mouth as he ties my feet and hands. He's crazy.

Titus slaps me again. Harder. Blood fills my mouth as he hauls me onto his shoulder and begins to walk an opposite way from where I cane from. I begin to screech when places me in the boot of a car

"Stop, please" I scream but he gives me a menacing smile before slamming it down
