"Yes it's some ritual only witches of the high witch bloodline can preform. She will eat your heart while it still beats and say some enchantments"

"So she will kill me if she finds out your my mate"

"No I have to kill you." I laugh

"How pitiful. Look at the mess you have created around yourself. I won't dig you out of it, figure it out yourself because I sure won't let you kill me"

"I would never kill you."

"Good to know." We stare at each other for a few minutes. She's so beautiful, her grey hair falls over her grey eyes.

She shakes her head and says. "Now listen I want to pick my royal guards."

"What"

"People I want to guard me."

"You don't need guards" I counter

"If I say I do that means I do"

"Ok who"

"Beta Norris"

Jeana POV

He won't agree.

"Then I pick the other guard" he reasons

"Sure wolfy"

He glares at me and storms out of the room

I laugh as I clean blood from my swords

Titus POV

What is it with her and Norris. Can't she just stay away from him. It's not hard. I make my way into the training room. All the men and women bow when I enter

"As you all know the visionary and fellow leaders will be residing in our home. This is our time to how our skills and experience. We must not falter because we are being surrounded by foreigners. Understood. The visionary has asked a for a female and male guard"

"Cata"

"Yes Alpha King"

"You have been assigned the position as female guard to the visionary while she is here by me." The reason I chose her is because if anything ever happens I know she'll tell Royce and Royce will tell me"

She nods excitedly "Yes Alpha King"

"Now everyone else return back to training. One more thing don't engage in any type of combat with anyone else"

They nod and bow

I turn to leave and make my way down the hall.

Someone shouts. "Alpha"

I turn to see Cata running towards me. She bows

"Royce is looking for you Alpha. He says he needs to speak to you about something important"

"Ok where is Norris"

"In Char's room." I forgot about Char. I can't face her, the whole things a mess. I haven't even visited her at all

"Thanks" I murmur. I'm no looking forward to this

I make my way to her room. I take a deep breath in and out and then knock on the door.

"Come in" I hear Norris' voice

I slowly open the door and see him lying beside a sleeping Char brushing her hair softly. He has always loved her more than me

His peaceful face turns into a sneer when he sees me

"Get out." He whispers. That's the second person to say that to me today.

"I need you to do something for me"

"No. I won't, the last time that happened Char got hurt"

"You should have taken care of her better and not tried to kill the visionary"

"How dare you. You can't even tell her the truth. You lie to her again and again." he raises his voice

"Everything you say is a lie Titus"

"I'm not here to argue with you. The visionary wants you to be her male guard"

"He will do no such thing." We look up to see Char glowering "that girl is....he will stay here with me"

"Char..." I walk up to her bed

"Stay away you liar"

"I can explain it...."

"Explain what the fact that for the past 6 years you have lied to me. Thanks but no thanks"

A spark twitches in me.

She's here

I turn to see the visionary at the door.

"Char how are you." She smiles. She has changed now dressed in a grey jumper and black leggings. I am mesmerised by her beauty. All she gets is a sneer from the witch.

"I would really like if your mate here could be my guard"

"We refuse." she breathes out

She looks Norris in the eyes. He freezes. His mouth opens but nothing comes out.

"Stop that" Char screams.

"Whatever witch. Norris you will do it, no discussions"

She turns and slam the door. I follow and look for her but she is nowhere to be found. I bump into someone

"Titus, Titus woah dude, are you okay"

"Yes I'm fine" I growls out

"Your eyes."

"Royce move"

"Titus we need to talk"

I continue to walk

"Titus stop" he grabs my arm

"What" I scream "You have no idea what I am going through, do you, you have a happy mate. A happy one. I'm breaking, it's breaking me Royce, she won't look at me. She doesn't want me. It's killing me inside"

"It's her isn't it, the visionary"
