Chapter 26: Sexy Beast

"Y/N, wake up," I hear someone calling my name. I groan and turn the other way, "5 more minutes." Suddenly, the blanket is pulled from my body, "I said it once, young lady. I'm not repeating it again." 

Hesitantly, I open my eyes and see my Mum standing beside the bed with her hands on her hips. "What is it, Mum?" I manage to say in my hoarse morning voice. "Get up," she commands and turns to walk away. "Why?" I protest. 

"We have to go shopping," she speaks with her back facing me. "Shopping for what?" I know I ask too many questions. She turns back with a bright smile playing on her lips, "For your wedding." With that, she walks away, leaving me stunned. Why are we going shopping so early?

"There has to be a certain shop you want to go to, Mum," I say as we walk throughout the mall. "Nope," she pops the 'p', "We're just going to explore until we reach a decent shop". I sigh. This is one of the negatives shopping with my Mum.

She takes forever. 

"Here," she drags me into a store and flicks through the racks of wedding dresses until she came across a particular dress.

With the help of one of the workers at the shop, she took down the dress and handed it to me. "Quick, we don't have much time," she shoos me away to the changing room. "It's only 10 in the morning, Mum. We have so much time," I state which earns me a glare in response. I roll my eyes and drag my feet into the changing room. After what seemed like eternity of wearing the dress, I walk out and my Mum gasps, "Oh, look at my daughter. She's grown to be a beautiful woman." "You said the last time, Mum," I utter. "That was a year ago," she replies and ushers me to go back and take it off. Once I slip into my comfortable clothes, I walk out and hand the dress to the assistant as Mum moves onto the jewelry side. She picked out a pair of silver, looped earrings for me, and a ring for Jimin.
