[Kat's POV]

[5th Division]

"Hey, Kat-chan~!" Shinji whine childishly, laying his head on the small coffee table. "Are you even paying attention to me?" he continue whining, turning his head slightly to glance at me.

"Yes Shinji I'm listening." I reply amuse by his antics. "You are currently complaining about how Hiyori kicked you in the face yesterday before Kisuke's introduction ceremony." I state, giggling softly at the thought of Hiyori kicking him.

"Kat-chan!" he whine lifting up his head completely from the table. "Don't laugh at my pain! You're supposed to be on my side and be upset because Hiyori beat me up!" he demand, pouting slightly, crossing his arms.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think my boyfriend would like it too much if I worried about another man." I reply, fully laughing now.

Shinji stare at me heartbroken.

Suddenly he starts yelling all dramatically, "Kat-chan how could you! What do you mean you want to leave Byakuya for me?!" Shinji continues dramatically, faking confusion at my suppose love confession. His fake frown turning into an evil smirk.

I stare at him wondering if he had gone crazy.

'What the hell is he talking about?'

"You wish shitface, there is no way in hell Catalina would ever leave me for a pervert old geezer like you." Byakuya growl annoyingly from behind me.

I turn around surprise to see Byakuya standing there.

"Byakuya! I thought you were training?" I question happily.

My boyfriend's foul mood quickly change when his gaze meet mine.

"Grandpa let me finish up early." He answer calmly, shoving his hands into his pockets.

My smile got bigger, if possible. I quickly stood up walking towards him.

"Sorry Shinji, but I'm going to have to cut our breakfast short." I apologize happily.

Once I was close enough to Byakuya he gently grab my hand intertwining our fingers together. I look over at Shinji who was resting his head on his palm in a sluggish manner, whilst he look at us.

"It's fine, you love birds go have fun." Shinji simply reply, suddenly a sly smirk appear on his face. "I'll have plenty of alone time with my first love once Kuchiki is off at the Soul Reaper Academy." Shinji adds cunningly.

Byakuya snarl angrily taking a step towards Shinji. I quickly squeeze his hand stopping him from taking a step further towards the provoking Shinji.

"Shinji." I snap angrily. "Stop trying to provoke Byakuya." I state seriously, glaring at the mischievous man.

"Yoruichi is right, he is so much to poke fun at." Shinji murmur amuse, mostly to himself.

I sigh exasperatingly, practically dragging a fuming Byakuya out of the room before he murdered Shinji.

"I'll get you and that stupid were-cat one day!" Byakuya vow angrily, shouting every possible profanity at Shinji.

Shinji's amuse laughs echo after us as we left the 5th division. We were walking down the streets of Seiteirei, still holding hands as Byakuya was venting angrily.
