Chapter 36

Louis' Pov

While I was walking into the school I had a little think about how me life is right now. I can't believe it's already January. It feels like a few days ago when I got to the States. But even with that, I have made so many good friends and new memories. This really has been one of the best decisions of me life.

Before I can get too dwelled up in my thoughts I heard Mike and Blake shouting at me.
"Hey, Louis! The gym class is about to start. Better come quick, you know the coach doesn't like when people are late!"

I quickly ran to the lockers and got changed into my gym clothes. I actually really like gym class since there is no chance for me to play football anywhere else. At least I get some exercise and I get to blow off some steam. I mean I do work out besides gym class but I usually do that just on me own. It's fun to have a team at least some of the time.

Today in class we actually did get to play football or soccer as they say here and not to be biased but I was by far the best. But I guess that isn't really a surprise since they rarely play that here. Even the coach said that I did great and coming from him it was a big compliment.

After the class, we all went back to the lockers to take a shower and change back to our normal clothes. I was a little bit behind everybody coming back to the lockers since coach wanted to talk to me for a bit. When I got there some of the guys had already left. I took a quick shower.

I was sure that I was the last one in the locker room but when I was coming out of the shower I heard two people talking. It sounded pretty heated. God, I hope nobody is fighting, I thought. I wouldn't want to see that.

I walked a little closer to where the talking was coming from but stayed hidden. When I had gotten close enough I realized who the people talking were. It was Mike and Blake. I know it's bad to eavesdrop but I just couldn't help meself. I got a little closer so that I could hear them clearly.

"Yeah, I know! It's awful. I just really hope nobody finds out. You know for her sake and mine."
That was Mike talking. What on Earth could they be talking about!

"Okay calm down. There is no need to panic yet. You can't yet know if anyone will even find out. But you know if it does come out it will be really hard on you and Maddie."

Is Mike cheating on Maddie?! Why does this sound exactly like that is the case? I mean he wouldn't, right?

"Okay, you're right. On both of those actually. I really do need to calm down. I don't want to freak Maddie out."
"See, that's better. Just try to stay calm. And I mean I'm sure Mads has already talked about it with Nia too so we can all have a chat about it later."
"Yeah, that would be great. It's just that the whole me dating a world know ballerina has never been a big deal before this. It was just something Mads did and it had nothing to do with our relationship you know."
"I get that. It has all changed now but you have to be strong for her. Even if all this comes out you have to be there for her."
"Yeah, I know. Okay, we should probably get going. We don't want to miss the next class."
"Yeah let's go."

Wait, did I hear that right? About Maddie being a world know ballerina. What?! I would know, right? It was probably something else. But then again Mike did say "me dating a world know ballerina". Omg, I have to google this right now!

I took my phone out and googled "Maddie Johnson". And to my shock the first thing that came up was a bunch of pictures of her and some of even her and Mike. The first headline that came up was "Has the world's own sweetheart ballerina stolen a heart of her own?" It was a gossip magazine that I don't know but after that therw were other magazines that I do indeed know very well. Magazines like DailyMail, The Sun and even BBC News had something similar on their own websites.
