BACKGROUND INFO ksenia was born and raised in yekaterinburg to aleksei kasharin and dominika vikasheva, who both got divorced when ksenia was only nine. she was taken under her father's custody (who didn't even care so much about her, as he was busy weeping over dominika) and was abandoned and forgotten by her mother, who eventually married another man and had two other kids. when ksenia was ten, she watched her father commit suicide in front of her.
after then, she was taken in by an orphanage, but would still attend public school where she met sevastien belorusov (jonathan plisetsky) and fell in love. the two would go around causing chaos; this included the use of weapons, which led to the murder of ksenia's mother and stepfather. because of this, her half-siblings darya and stepan were taken in by the same orphanage which ksenia went to. with no desire to stay with them, she left the orphanage and lived with the belorusovs (olga belorusova, sevastien's 'mother', agreed to let her move in).
ksenia and sevastien broke up in 2038 when they were both 16, due to a disagreement between the two. they went their separate ways; sevastien was reunited with his biological family, while ksenia was scouted by red room academy, a school where children learn to become assassins. she is currently working as an svr agent, at the same time being the prima ballerina at bolshoi theatre, under the name "kristina petrukhina".
