❛ Come on, why does it have to be her who had to be taken from us? Why couldn't it be Mycroft? No - I'm kidding. ❜

— As was typical of a Holmes, Ethylene was mainly recognised for her extreme intelligence. No one had ever taken her cleverness for conceit either, as she was agreeably kind-hearted, open-minded, and gentle. Her older brother Sherlock had once pointed out that being a girl with a multitude of great skills & talents, Ethylene was brilliant in possibly everything; including art, music, board games, jujitsu, and of course, academics. She was adored by many for her sweet disposition - however she could sometimes be too vivacious to the extent that Mycroft found her behaviour rather "unpleasant". Even so, one might say that Ethylene was quite dignified, as she'd always refuse to indulge in those "juvenile activities" that her younger sister Enola would usually partake in. Albeit obedient towards her seniors, she never hesitated to speak up for her beliefs, and was not afraid of contradicting anyone she thought wrong. Although Ethylene had been rather shy as a child, she had proven herself to be remarkably outgoing & lively, especially when in the presence of people she felt comfortable to be around with.
