PERSONALITY astoria is inarguably the passive one of the three sisters; she tends to bottle up her feelings, prefers to stay silent on matters, and is very secretive. because of her high pride, she never admits it when she feels neglected, however she never hesitates to show her bitter attitude towards others. on the other hand, just like the rest of the women in the family, she has a strong enthusiasm for fashion and can be rather manipulative when it comes to anyone who pisses her off.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE among her sisters, astoria bears the most resemblance to her father, having inherited his hair color, long eyelashes, and some other features. she has slight freckles, caucasian skin, blue eyes, and long brown hair which she usually puts a hairband on.

BACKGROUND INFO astoria is the middle daughter of new york city mayor atticus dewitt-bukater and socialite colleen dewitt-bukater (née vandergeld). along with her two sisters, abigail and althea, she was born and raised in upper east side manhattan, and was educated in the spence school for most of her life as a student.
growing up, she was quite spoiled, however often shadowed by her accomplished older sister and whiny little sister. due to this, their parents barely paid much attention to astoria, allowing her to do whatever she pleases and never having the time to discipline her wrong actions except when they're dissatisfied with her choice of outfit or anything that has to do with physical appearance.
as expected of any young lady in the family, astoria was always one of the most popular girls in school, though never had she been considered as "queen bee", as that title belonged to her sister abigail even after the latter finished school.
in december 2041, astoria ditched her piano lessons to travel to london without her parents' consent. she indulged herself in shopping and spending time with jonathan, her crush who reciprocated her feelings that day. consequently, their recklessness led to a disastrous car crash, resulting in astoria's coma, jonathan's injuries, and the death of emma vaughn, astoria's british second cousin who was in the car with them when the accident occurred.
astoria recovered from her coma two months later and took extra classes to make up for her long absence. upon finding out emma passed away from the car accident, she blames herself for her cousin's demise and continues to live with guilt. she began attending princeton university as of september 2042.
