BACKGROUND INFO alistair was born in new york to a wealthy father who works as a real estate broker, and a mother who's a former nurse. he has a sister, sadie, who is five years younger than him. alistair began his education in 92nd street y nursery school before attending columbia grammar & preparatory school. he started 9th grade in stuyvesant high school and was referred to as a "loner", also being considered as mysterious, as he never talked much to anyone except his best friend, joana. alistair took a great interest in acting, but preferred to play the extra or side character in every school play. he was bullied for being a silent kid. his parents divorced when he was 13 and his father married another woman while his mother was left to raise alistair and sadie on her own. alistair worked part-time in a convenience store, as he did not want to use his father's money.
after graduating in 2018, he moved on to act in broadway shows; his roles included fiyero in wicked and connor murphy in dear evan hansen. in 2019, he was recognized for his acting skills, and was asked to audition for a netflix tv series, which he agreed to and soon enough got the role of one of the main characters, his co-stars being millie bobby brown, finn wolfhard, wyatt oleff, olivia rodrigo, jaden smith, and audrey johnson, who played the love interest of alistair's character. alistair grew to become close with all his co-stars, especially audrey.
in 2023, while the tv series was on hiatus, alistair made a brief return to acting in musicals (this time off-broadway) by playing jason dean from heathers while audrey was veronica sawyer. in late 2024, he moved to california and pursued his acting career in hollywood. he studied three years of college with audrey; princeton university from 2026 to 2028, glasgow university from 2028 to 2029, both taking up theater. in 2031, alistair fell in love with manu rios, audrey's ex, and married him a year later, becoming stepfather to catalina, his goddaughter (and now stepdaughter). as he continued to play major roles in famous films, he became one of the most prominent actors of his generation. currently, he is wealthier than his own father.
