Alpha Delta Omega is simply an undercover name; its real name is Requie Opulentia, which is not exactly an actual sorority, but rather a secret society.
For the past centuries, Requie Opulentia has been involved in numerous scandals and mysterious incidents, those of which are not known to non-members of the society. The very first members (Imogen Finch-Hatton, Eloise de Loughrey, Florence Tennyson, Edith Kipling, Henrietta Stuart, Georgiana Johnson) formed the organization with the purpose of not only celebrating sisterhood but of forming schemes against people they didn't like, particularly a young lady named Sarah Browning, who had slept with Edith's boyfriend, Algernon Marchand. The disappearance & deaths of Sarah & Algernon, along with plentiful other women and men, remain a mystery.
