PERSONALITY nina is a manipulative girl, whose mean trait is disguised as kindness in order to use people to her advantage. she can be rather flirty and seductive, luring boys into her trap and murdering them in the end. like the rest of the massacre gang, she's mentally unstable, sadistic, and violent.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE nina is said to look an awful lot like her mother, but with long, wavy red hair which she has inherited from her paternal family. like her mother, nina has awfully pale skin, sharp cheekbones, and brown eyes. her face is described to be "doll-like", giving her the nickname "redheaded barbie". she's usually seen wearing stockings, dress or skirt, and high heels.
BACKGROUND INFO as a child, nina was close with her parents, more especially with her father. it was when she was 11 that her life went wrong; her father left all of a sudden, leaving her with her mother, who became very unstable. desperate for someone, inna (nina's mother) moved to yekaterinburg and married her colleague from work, who revealed himself to be very abusive after their marriage.
roman (nina's stepfather) would always come home drunk, sometimes even bringing other women, and force nina's mother into doing stuff for him otherwise he'd beat her up. he'd also done the same to his stepdaughter, but was slightly softer on her as he was sexually attracted to her. his attraction, however, made it much worse - even going above on raping the girl.
at the age of 12, nina ran away from home and lived on the streets alone, until she encountered ksenia kasharina and sebastian belorusov, who encouraged her to murder her stepfather. eventually, she did. nina changed her surname to 'policheva', as defiance against her biological father who left her.
she became a trio with ksenia and sebastian, murdering innocent lives and causing malevolence all over yekaterinburg. their trio became a gang of seven after four boys joined. soon enough, they attacked not only yekaterinburg, but other populated cities in russia as well and even travelled as far as other countries in europe.
after venedikt, timofei, and anatoly's deaths in december 2038, the remaining members parted ways. nina lived on her own in the old apartment she shared with the rest of the gang as their headquarters, considering they don't use it anymore or even come for a visit. she used her stepfather's money for her everyday needs, sometimes stealing from shops.
getting tired of stealing, she started working as a waitress in nightclubs despite only being 17 at the time. after meeting three of her cousins (alexei, mariya, maxim) in 2041, she reunited with her paternal family.
