PERSONALITY — Though people perceive Matheus to be a confident individual, he is actually a bit self-conscious. He spends much of his time in an effort to maintain his good looks, albeit he isn't at all the narcissistic, self-absorbed type. He later earned the title "The Jaguar" from his fans (local & international alike) because not only is it Brazil's national animal, but Matheus had the agility, swiftness, and sturdiness of a jaguar, and enjoyed swimming just as much.
