PERSONALITY — Nissie is an extremely quirky girl with a serene disposition along with many eccentric beliefs and qualities. She's a complete nonconformist; she lacks self-consciousness and is not afraid to express herself. Like her parents, she is also undeniably intelligent and unusually perceptive, albeit her eccentric behaviour and sense of style have given her an unlucky reputation that has led to practical jokes and unpleasant whisperings. Despite this, she remains friendly and fairly optimistic, never once showing even a hint of bitterness towards others. Her demeanour and voice were usually distant and dreamy; she would drift away from a conversation she did not find interesting.
However, whenever she felt offended, the dreamy quality was in her voice would vanish and be replaced with one of steel, proving that she's capable of expressing extreme anger (prime example was when some boys at her school made fun of her father, and she scared them off with her sudden outburst). She had an uncanny way of making others uncomfortable by being bluntly honest; Henry Potter described her as having a "knack for embarrassing honesty". She was also completely unflappable and rarely seemed anxious or stressed, even under difficult circumstances.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE — Nissie has pale skin, protuberant blue eyes which often seemed to be dreamily distracted, and faint eyebrows that match the light-blonde shade of her slightly curly hair. The length of her hair had always been waist-length, but upon reaching her college years, she had it cut shoulder-length. She has an aura of "distinct dottiness" about her and is known to put her paintbrush behind her hair for safekeeping. Nissie also has a unique fashion sense that other people usually find bizarre; she often wore odd pieces of jewelry such as a pair of radish earrings, multicolored socks, Doc Martens boots with flowers, a beer cork necklace, and sometimes a pair of googly spectacles. Some parts of her skin have pastel-colored tattoos drawn on them, while her bruises (which she got from little reckless accidents) are covered with colorful, decoratively-printed band-aids.
