— Amaryllis was said to be quite the vivacious, headstrong young woman. She had strong beliefs in morality, and would stand by her principles no matter what it cost her. However, she had the tendency to get involved in arguments very often, even with the people she was closest to. In spite of her sharp tongue and stubborn personality, she was nonetheless the type of person who was always willing to give others a second chance when they had proven themselves worthy of it. She loved to see the good in others, but would still reproach them for their immoral acts. She was also very determined in everything she did, refusing to give up even in the most trying of times. Many people have described her to be quick-witted, charming, persuasive, and occasionally sarcastic; she was very careful but honest with her words, and would usually express her views in a rational manner. Amaryllis would sometimes get enthusiastic over her interests, such as her favourite bands, books, and films. She was extremely loving to the people who were considered dear to her and was especially gentle towards her son Henry, whom she appeared to have valued more than everything else in the world.
