PERSONALITY carsen is a very curious and erudite introvert, who is notably diligent when it comes to her goals and ambitions (such as aiming to get into oxford and aspiring to become a lawyer). in addition to her wits, she can be quite sarcastic. although she mainly has good morals, she's not exempted from having a few negative characteristics, as proven each time she disregards those morals if something could be taken to her advantage and chortles at people who mistake her as a boy.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE carsen has a pale complexion, blue eyes, and light brown hair which she cut pixie-style before heading to college. she has a low voice and is often mistaken to be a male, due not only her hair, but her tall height (5'10"), flat chest, and very sharp jawline. around her second year in college, she allowed her hair to grow in the attempt to look more feminine. she's also described by some people to have the figure of a fashion model. carsen wears a pair of round glasses, and is often seen wearing trousers instead of skirts or dresses.
BACKGROUND INFO carsen was born and raised in middlesbrough to a simple middle-classed family. she's the youngest of three; her older sister jackie is working in australia as an accountant, and her older brother freddie is an aspiring musician who's currently studying in leeds college of music. their father was an office worker for an insurance company, before accepting an offer to work as a manager in isle royale hotel brighton (one of the hotels owned by stephen murray's father). their mother, on the other hand, is a history professor in teesside university. for most of her life, carsen and her siblings were under the care of their sole nanny.
as of 2041, carsen got into christ church, oxford through scholarship. she's currently studying law, and is flatmates with sienna seymour, niece of the duke of somerset. after striking a deal with sienna, carsen joined the infamous riot club and managed to deceive the boys into thinking she was male.
