PERSONALITY during her youth, dominika had a bipolar personality; one moment she was nice, the next moment she was suddenly aloof. she was mostly more lighthearted around yurio whom she had an unhealthy infatuation for - until he started dating someone else, which took all the positivity out of dominika. since then, she became indifferent and her personality had gone numb. she barely cares for any of her children, and merely tolerates them.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE dominika had light blonde hair, green eyes, and pale skin. she was of average height, and her face is said to slightly resemble her grandma lilia's. still, it's her elder daughter ksenia who looks as if she is the younger version of lilia.
BACKGROUND INFO dominika's mother died right after giving birth, and both pairs of her grandparents were dead as well, thus she looked up to lilia baranovskaya as her actual grandmother. dominika's father, konstantin, was an engineer (+ former male ballet dancer) who was much favored by lilia, and was treated by her as though he was her own son. however, he died when dominika was only five due to a cardiovascular disease, leaving the girl to be raised by lilia.
dominika met yuri plisetsky after he and yakov feltsman moved in with her and lilia. as she began to treat yakov like a grandfather, she also grew to become best friends with yurio, whom she had hidden romantic feelings for and was secretly crazy over. she eventually met yakov's other disciples and befriended them too. dominika was undoubtedly very resentful upon discovering that yurio liked someone else (aka an american girl by the name of audrey johnson) but then figured she couldn't do about it. however, she began to withdraw herself from yurio, mila, georgi, and viktor ever since.
when she was 19, she met and fell for aleksei kasharin whom she went to the same college with. in 2022, dominika bore an unplanned child with aleksei; this caused their relationship to become rocky. they planned to put her up for adoption, but were too late when aleksei's parents discovered about the baby. yakov and lilia eventually found out too; dominika and aleksei had no choice but to marry in order to raise their child.
the two spent most of their marriage arguing over pointless things. dominika eventually lost interest for aleksei and started seeing another man namely ruslan dumanovsky. despite all the conflict, aleksei still never managed to lose his love for dominika and was very heartbroken upon finding out about her act of adultery. they finally got divorced in 2031; dominika then married ruslan and had two children with him, namely darya and stepan.
after aleksei commited suicide in 2033, dominika did not even bother to attend his funeral. she joined him in death, along with her second husband ruslan, a year later in 2034 after being murdered in the hands of her own daughter, ksenia.
