A/N I know this is a Calum fic but look at that lil bean
June's POV
"Why am I here again?" Ashton questioned as I kept throwing clothes out of my closet. It's the day of the party where Tom invited us and he was kind enough to invite Ashton as well.
This is the first university party I'll be attending so I have to look my best. I mean, I don't want to look like a sack of potatoes beside other college girls.
"You're here to help me pick what I'm going to wear."
"Okay, I'm out." He stood up and started walking out of the room but I didn't let him. I pulled him back by his hoodie and forced him to sit back down.
I pouted, "Come on, Mikhaela's at a doctor's appointment with Michael so I can't facetime her, you're the only person I can ask."
"Uh, you have a boyfriend in the other room, ask him." Ashton pointed out. I could ask Calum, but he's not really much help when it comes to this. He'll just say, 'fine,' 'does it matter,' and 'it's just clothes.'
That's because Calum doesn't have these kinds of problems, he looks good in everything. Even if he wears a sack, he'll still look dashing.
"He's no help. He doesn't care what I wear!"
"Because he really doesn't care! You can be wearing a trash bag, and he'll still think you're the most beautiful girl." I blushed at Ashton's statement. I'm not that attractive, so hearing Ashton saying that made me feel a little better about myself.
I looked down, playing with the hem of my dress. "Okay, I think I'll wear this." I decided, pertaining to the black dress I was wearing. It's a flowy dress that hangs just above the knees and a little tight on the upper half, but still breathable due to it having no sleeves.
"Yeah, you look hot in that." I threw a pillow at Ashton after his remark and just in time, Calum walked inside my room.
"Calum! You can't just barge in here any time you want. I could be changing clothes, you know?"
"With Ashton here?" He ingeniously retorted. He added, "Plus, it's nothing I haven't seen before."
I could feel my cheeks getting hot by his comment and Ashton, who was lying on my bed tried to stifle a laugh.
"What do you want?!"
"Can I borrow your charger? I can't seem to find mine." He asked and I instantly pointed at the top of my cabinet, just beside a picture frame, which contains a photo of all of us at graduation.
He took the charger from where it was but before he could leave, he looked at me up and down. "That's what you're wearing to the party?"
I simply nodded and waited for his response. "You need to change."
I looked at him amused. What did he just told me to do? "No. I like this outfit."
"I like that on you, as well, but you really need to change."
Is it too tight for him? Or too short? Either way, I can wear whatever I want. He can't tell me what and what not to wear.
"No. At least I dressed up, unlike you who's just in a tee and shorts. We're not going jogging, you know." I crossed my arms and taunted him.
He answered back, "June, it's a fucking foam party."
Ashton abruptly turned his head to look at me and exclaimed, "It's a foam party?! June! Why didn't you tell me? I didn't bring a change of clothes."
