June's POV
I woke up extra early for class so that I wouldn't bump into Calum in the apartment. Thankfully, he was still asleep when I woke up and I quickly darted out.
My first class doesn't start until after two more hours but I couldn't risk seeing him.
His class starts at noon and since yesterday was his soccer tryouts, in which he didn't need, he must've been pretty tired that's why he slept in.
The whole weekend, I've tried to avoid Calum as much as I could, only going out when I know he's not home, or locking myself in my room.
I was eating alone in McDonalds, scrolling through twitter, when suddenly there was a notification.
TomHolland1996 followed you
Tom does have a twitter. I clicked on his account and scrolled through his tweets. This is a weird thing I picked up when I started using social media. I look through the new friend or follower and stalk his/her account a little bit.
"Aren't you going to follow me back?" I jumped up on my seat, startled at the sudden voice speaking behind me.
"I almost spilled my drink, don't scare me like that!" I slapped him on his shoulder and sat back down on my seat.
He walked around and sat on the seat in front of me.
If I remember it correctly, this was also the same exact place we sat the first time we met.
I reached for my phone as it was still on Tom's account and followed him. It notified him quick. He smiled after seeing that notification on his phone before turning back to me.
"Are you excited for classes?" He asked, reaching for a fry on my plate. I quickly slapped his hand and he frowned at me. "Get your own food."
"Anyways, I am indeed excited for classes, but I'm not excited at the fact that I have to take General Education for a whole semester before I can apply for Computer Sciences again." It sucks having to study a bunch of courses you wouldn't need for the program you actually want to be in.
"Oh come on. What's more exciting is that you meet people. Plus, you might change your mind on the program you really like. University is about finding what you really like." He explained and I nodded in agreement.
I knew that but right now my mind's set on Computer Sciences and I don't think it's changing any time soon.
"Well, we'll see. How about you? You excited?" I sipped on my hot chocolate after asking.
Instead of answering, he just chuckled at me. I frowned at him and he pointed at my mouth. I looked at him confused before he shook his head.
He took a piece of tissue paper on the table and wiped something at the top of my lips. "You have chocolate on your lips."
I blushed in embarrasment and stuffed myself with fries due to awkwardness.
"I have Dance in two hours, that's what I'm excited about." He spoke, I guess trying to the cut the awkwardness in the air.
"Dance? You must be really good." I, too, am quite fond of dancing. I wouldn't say I'm a pro but I can move. I remember dancing during Michael's promposal where Calum can't dance shit.
He shook his head, "No, but I can follow. I mean, I started dancing when I was a kid." Woah, he did?
"And yet you say you're no good! Liar!"
"I try to be humble to people I like." Like? He likes me? Oh June, stop it. Not like that. Of course, I like him too, as a friend.
He cleared his throat and looked anywhere but me. "Yeah, so the Greek will be revealing the picked pledges tomorrow. Are you sure you still want to join Delta?"
