June's POV

Calum, Ashton, Malia, Cassie and I are on our way to Cornell for Luke's first ever football match. I was still upset that Luke didn't tell me and Calum only told me a few days ago, making it impossible for me to print cheers for him in a shirt, so I had to draw them myself.

Nevertheless, I was still excited for Luke. They've mentioned before that he wanted to play football since middle school and was about to try out in high school but he got sent away to London.

"It's only a three hour drive, and you guys are going to make it five if you don't hurry the fuck up." Calum yelled from the car, with me in the passenger seat, and Malia in the back seat.

Ashton is bringing Cassie with him for obvious reasons and despite Cassie quitting Delta, they started dating two days ago.

The guys learned about our confrontation with Megan and Lily and they almost threw a party in celebration.

"Ash, we're switching half way, okay?" Calum started his car, drove out of Cassie's driveway.

"Or, I could switch with you." I offered but he just glared at me. I've been bugging him to teach me how to drive in case I'd ever need to drive, but no, he resisted I wouldn't need to drive and he reminds me every time about that dream he had before when I was hit by a car.

"No, June, Calum would never let you drive." Ashton laughed at the back and I slumped in my seat, crossing my arms in the process.

"You told me you'd teach me how to drive when you learned to. I guess you don't keep your promises." I blurted out and Calum immediately snapped his head to me.

Good thing the light was red. "I never said I'd teach you." He insisted but I remembered otherwise. He told me that.

"You did." I fought back and he looked at me confused.  "No, I didn't, because I already know how to drive even before I met you." Oh yeah. Then who the fuck told me that?!

"Oh. It must be Michael then."

--

When we got to Cornell, the game has already started and I was bummed that Luke didn't get to see my hand-made cheer shirts for him before the game.

Cornell was in lead versus Yale but so far Luke was still in the bench. They're probably not giving Luke the light of day for two reasons, one is because he's a freshman, or two, because it's the quarterback's final year.

The game went on with a tight score, Cornell falling short by one point. I couldn't understand the game but Calum seemed too committed to it.

Typical college guy.

I watched as the ball was passed from one player to another. From the left, one player passed the ball to the Cornell quarterback. However, when he caught the ball, he was immediately tackled to the ground, and next thing we know, he was screaming for his life.

Okay, what the hell happened?

The players in the game and in bench, including the coaches and referees, all surrounded the guy.

Everyone surrounding him stood back as a couple of medics were called, rushing to where the guy was.

He was lying on the field, hands on his feet, screaming in pain. "What happened to him?" I asked Calum and he furrowed his eyebrows before answering, "Probably a ligament injury."

"Is he still going to play?" Well, June, he has an injury, it's common sense that he's not.

Calum shook his head, "No, he's going to have to sit this one out."
