Calum's POV

"Cassie couldn't make it because she's with June. She said to just fill her in." Ashton said the moment he sat at one of the stools.

The four of us are sitting around a round table, beers in each of our hands.

Jackson chuckled, "Why does this feel like we're having a meeting or something."

"Because we are. Calum, why is he here again? I don't think this is any of his concerns." Ethan reasoned out but for all it's worth, Jackson's just as concerned as we all are. I mean, not entirely, but he was in Malia's life.

"Maybe this is not any of your concern, if you look around you, all three of us are Betas." Jackson sipped in his beer as if sipping tea.

Ashton's face instantly lit up after he said that. "What? What?"

Jackson noticed Ashton's face and obviously got weirded out. "Yeah, yeah, you two got in. Just don't tell anyone because I'm not supposed to tell you." Perks of being the president, huh?

Ashton tried to hide his smile, but I know deep inside, he's celebrating, I can practically hear and see him dancing to Jessie's girl.

I cleared my throat, "Anyway, yeah, Ethan, Jackson's involved in this, too. He dated Malia in Minesotta so I hope he has additional inputs in this."

"What?!" Ashton and Ethan both exclaimed, looking directly at Jackson.

"Geez, people. I can date, too." Jackson sipped again on his beer.

We talked about our relationships with Malia for about half an hour so that all of us would get to know each other better but after that, it's not the time we talk about the real problem at hand.

I laid out the picture Ashton and I have been talking about earlier and the two boys quickly looked at it.

"I remember this picture. We went to the science center with the twins." Ethan pointed at who's who among Malia and Maya because damn they really do look alike.

Just like Cassie, he described the two girls the same. Malia was the one beside Cassie and Maya beside Ethan.

"Damn, it's almost hard to distinguish who's who. They look so much alike." Trust me, Jackson, that's what we all thought.

"So you found the other half. Where did you get it?" Ethan asked.

"In June's photo album." I answered briefly making the two of them look at me confused. I mean, why would it be in June's photo album, right? This must be more confusing for Jackson.

I continued, "I also don't know how it got there but there's only one theory-"

"June is Maya. Of course she would have the other half." Ethan finished making a much more confused Jackson.

He put his hands up, "Okay, wait wait wait wait wait. What do you mean June is Maya? Is this some kind of a conspiracy theory or something? If so, that's a realy fucked up one, I mean sure they look alike at some points-" He halted speaking as if realizing something. "Oh shit."

Same, Jackson, same.

"So ya'll just think the same thing? But weren't they identical? Look, in this photo, they look so much alike, but June and Malia don't look identical." He defended and Ethan explained about how they were actually fraternal and so on and so forth.
