Chapter 12 - Initiation

June's POV

My eyes slowly fluttered open, squinting at the only flash of light present.

I slowly sat up and drank in my surroundings. A couple of girls laying in a really dark small room, all of which looked familiar to me.

We were all in pajamas or whatever sleeping clothes. I don't remember putting on pajamas.

Wait. Is that Cassie?

I crawled over to her and lightly woke her up. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up. "June?"

"Cassie. Where are we?" I asked nervously. The last I remember I was with Calum.

Oh my God, Calum. He was also being taken by guys in masks. What if something bad happened to him?

Cassie looked around, obviously not bothered. Does she know why we're here?

She looked back at me and grinned, "Oh my God. This is it!" This is what?! I looked at her confused and she chuckled, "June, this is Delta! We got in!"

What? That doesn't even make sense, we were just kidnapped!

Wait, if this is Delta, then Dylan's got to be here! I looked around for her but to my dismay, she wasn't around. She didn't get into Delta...?

Then suddenly, the door opened and a loud air horn noise woke everyone else up. The lights were opened and Megan and the other Deltas came into view.

"Wake up skanks. Today's going to be the first day of the best days of your college life." Cassie squealed beside me and I looked at her weirdly. They just blatanly kidnapped us, why is she excited? Does this really happen in sororities?!

"Now, pledges, you want to be Deltas? Stand up!" All of us stood up and waited for Megan's next instruction. "Now, no brushing your hair, your teeth, change of clothes, anything. You're going to go outside in a state your appearance is at right now." What?

I subtly released a breath and smelled it. At least I don't stink. The only problem I have, though, is my hair. It gets really frizzy after I sleep.

Megan looked at all of us before continuing, "Okay. We have a reservation at the restaurant two blocks from the house and we have to be there in fifteen minutes." Oh. That is not hard. We just have to eat there looking like we obviously just woke up. 

Then she smirked, "Your first task is to find a guy to bring to the restaurant. If you come alone, then you're out of Delta." Okay, what?! It looks really dark outside, it must be really late right now, nobody's out at this hour!

The air horn once again made a sound and the girls all scrambled meaning the challenge has already started.

I looked beside me and Cassie was already nowhere to be found. "June, what are you still doing here?" Lily asked and I quickly walked out of the room and out the house.

One by one, the pledges pulled guys willingly to go with them. Who am I kidding? They're all gorgeous, of course even without make up and only in pajamas, they still look beautiful while I'm a freaking potato walking alone in the middle of the night.

Cassie came into view and pulled a guy with her, grinning like an idiot. "June, hurry up, okay?" I only nodded and tried to find a guy but they always ended up coming with another girl.

Five minutes left and I couldn't find a single guy. I was the only pledge left out here and I was freezing.

If only Calum was here, I could easily pull him, but since he was also 'kidnapped' like me, I assumed he's in Beta.
