"Malia!" Ethan and Maya called out, hoping they would be able to find Malia the soonest.

The house was going to burn down any second and that's what they were afraid of.

"Malia!" Hands intertwined, Ethan and Maya went to every place in the house that were not seriously on fire. Malia not being able to make it crossed Maya's mind but she wasn't going to lose hope.

She knew Malia more than anyone and she knew she's still alive.

Maya then heard a loud screaming coming close from their room, on the third floor. She ran towards the voice and eventually found her under a fallen cabinet. "Help!"

Ethan ran towards her and quickly kicked the wooden cabinet off of her. After successfully kicking it off, the three of them ran inside the twins' room, the only room that was least consumed by the fire.

"We need to jump." Malia proposed and Maya couldn't hide how scared she was at the moment.

Ethan pulled her to face him, "Maya, you can do this, I'll be right behind you. I won't let anything happen to you."

"No." Malia interrupted earning confused looks from the couple, "Ethan you go first."

"Wha-no I-"

"There has to be someone who'll catch Maya." Malia was making sense. Maya's too scared to jump. If Ethan was under her waiting, she would be less tensed.

Ethan hesitated at first but agreed anyway. The fire was spreading all throughout the house, and almost to their room. He opened the window and saw there were people outside.

"Ethan!" Cassie called from the ground, the twins' bags at her feet. She was with their mom.

"Malia! Maya!" Ellie, the twins' mom called out. She was locked out the house by their father and she quickly ran to Frank's house for help.

The people outside saw them and instantly called some of the officials outside about the kids' situation. Ethan sighed in relief, knowing they're already saved.

One of the firemen saw and immediately laid out a ladder for them to go down with. Ethan was the first one to go down.

He was halfway through the ladder, and he looked back, urging Maya to follow after her, a fireman waiting by the end of the ladder.

Maya peeked her head out, her legs ready to walk over the window she was interrupted by a big explosion, coming from inside of their room, and burning the third floor down.

The twins fell down the next floor, getting separated with each other.

The ladder went out of balance, making Ethan fall. "No, no!" He cried out. He tried setting the ladder back up so he could go back but Cassie pulled him away. "Ethan, no! You'll get hurt!"

--

"Kpf kpf, Ma-ah!" She tried to get up, everywhere around her hurt from the fall. "Malia!" She was desperately trying to find her sister but she was nowhere to be found.

Their room was ruined and it was the only exit they know. She didn't want to die so she cried and cried, hugging herself, hoping someone would save her.

She heard a clinking sound to her right and she thought it was someone rescuing her but it was the complete opposite. "You can't get rid of me that easily." It was Elliot.
