June's POV

I was woken up by loud knocks on the door and by loud, I meant really loud, like they're banging on the door.

Someone opened the door and when the door didn't close, I knew Cassie wasn't letting that person in.

I have a feeling it's Calum but I can't be so sure. Why would he follow me here, though? He's not the old Calum.

Last night, I ran out of the apartment without nowhere to go and it was raining really hard but I bumped into Cassie and Ashton so Cassie took me home to her apartment and now I'm staying here.

Ashton must've told Calum where I was as I heard him tell Ethan he's going to talk to Calum and that he'll bring Luke with him.

Someone then knocked on my door and when it opened, Ethan appeared with a bowl of food. "I brought you breakfast. There's cereal in the kitchen and we thought you might need something heavy."

He handed me the bowl that was full of bacon and eggs, even bread.

"Just let me talk to her!" I heard someone spoke a little loud outside. And by someone, I meant Calum. Why is he even here? Is he guilty of what happened or some other reason I don't know?

"Calum, just give her some space, she'll come to you and talk, but I don't think now is that time." I internally thanked Cassie and Ethan gave me a sympathetic smile.

When the door closed, I knew Cassie had already made Calum left, which I was thankful for. I couldn't bear see him right now.

"You're going to have to talk to him, you know?" Ethan suddenly spoke.

I sighed, "I know, just not now."

"For a guy with amnesia, Calum's kind of doing alright. He takes responsibility of his mistakes." By mistake, he meant moaning out my sister's name while we were making out.

Oh my God, was he picturing Malia while he was kissing me?! I know we look alike but ugh.

I decided to not think of it anymore and buried myself back into the sheets of Cassie's bed.

I had to go home at some point so when the weekend rolled in, I knew Calum's either at work or at soccer practice 'cause that's what he always do during Saturdays.

Yesterday, I got a call from the coffee shop and I got the job. I start on Monday and that's pretty exciting.

When I walked into the apartment, Duke instantly ran to me, wagging his tail like he hasn't seen me in so long, well he hasn't.

I breathed out in relief when I saw his bowl full of dog food and his water full also. Calum's taking care of him so well.

"Hi Duke, daddy fed you, huh? Were you a good boy?" He barked as if answering my question and proceeded on licking my cheeks.

"June." Oh shit. He's home. Why the hell is he home?! He's supposed to be at work or at practice.

"Hi uh I thought you were out."

"Jackson canceled practice so I'm here at home." Of all the days, Jackson, why today??!!

"Oh okay, then, I'm just going to get some things-"

"Please come home." That hit me. I want to come home but I'm still hurt, really hurt.

"Cal-"

"June, just hear me out, please? I know I screwed up but it was a huge misunderstanding, okay? I wasn't thinking of her when we were kissing, it was all you."
