Jasmine's P.O.V
Clusters of students swarmed out of their dorm rooms and some arriving from their residence. Few of them who are not joining the trip are going to their sweet home as a week leave. I strolled by the rocky pavement inhaling the fresh scents of the morning dew.
"Hey Jasmine," I noticed Robert approaching me.
"That's your friend right?" his index pointed towards Blaire who was sitting on a far off stone bench. A gloomy shadow lurked on her features.
"Yeah, my precious friend," I answered after a long pause and noticed a devil smirk replacing his lips.
"Whoa! Don't try hitting on her, she's taken," I warned him.
"Well, it doesn't seem so. After all, look at her, she's so much lonely, man. She won't mind some company. I'm damn tired of watching out for her for almost weeks now," he chuckled and walked out.
"Secret admirer huh...!" I smiled to myself.
Blaire's P.O.V
I didn't really know what's wrong with Christian. He rarely communicated. The sight of him being stressed and worn out made me mad. I understood what it felt like if Christian was not playing his role in my life. I wanted him back. I wanted my Christian back.
Is he really mine?
"Hey, there," A voice called out.
"Blaire," I added, not even bothering to notice the face.
"Yes, babe,"
I turned at the flirtatious comment and was met by an unknown face with a flirty smirk and gleaming brown eyes, his hairs black like coal, striking with his skin tone. I called up memory just in case I saw him somewhere around the campus but whatever. He immediately grabbed the seat next to mine, rather clipped himself to me and took my hand in his.
"Hey, what are you doing? Who are you rather ?"
"I'm Robert and I do share a few classes with you. Cutting short to the point, would you like to go..."
"Well, sorry but I reject you before you do so. So, goodbye," I said and stood up, ready to walk away but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.
My hands curled into a fist as he went on rambling useless shits. I struggled with my captivation and suddenly someone clutched his collar.
"Christian," my lips automatically whispered, in relief.
He tightly held his collar and pulled him closer. His breath struggling for life in Christian's grip.
"Don't ever try to hit on my girl. She's mine," He snarled in a cold voice glaring at him and then threw him on the stone pavement.
"Creep,” I muttered.
He turned to me, his expressions softening, he placed his hand on my waist and moved towards our octet. I could see a faint smile on Jase's lips. It was quite obvious to me that she did something.

We stationed ourselves on our respective seats as the busses roared on the way to the airport. Jasmine was quite busy with James so I decided to check in with Sophia instead. Painful look painted on her face. Her sight was full of agony as if glass dust pierced through her heart. Her eyes, immersed in oceans of thoughts.
"uh- uh," I coughed as I sank down in my seat but unable to attract a single penny of her attention.
"What's wrong?" I asked, my voice calm and appealing as I placed my hand on hers.
She shook her head slightly, and then a blanket of silence rested between us.
"Can you please leave me alone?"
"You sure?"
She nodded and I stood up and moved to another seat irrespective of my doubtfulness and her weary look.
I stared out of the window, observing nature, clouds floating in the sky. The October heat was still on. I wished Christian was by my side, to cut off my loneliness. I felt someone's arm brushing off my arm and as it directly sent chills through my spine, I understood who's touch it was. Actually, two months of togetherness was a hell lot of time to understand that.
"I'm sorry," He murmured in a soft and pleading voice.
"Why?"
"Last day after that incident, I thought that he'll do something to you and a lot of shitty things went through my mind. Worse to worst thoughts played in my mind but I forgot something..."
"I forgot that I'm right here beside you to protect you, my responsibility. Last time I couldn't but I promise this time I wouldn't fail," he sighed.
"I should have kept the least confidence in myself."
"Shhhh, sshh, it's okay," I said gently caressing his Palm.
"It's alright. I understand," I calmed him down. I couldn't let guilt take over him and make him stay away from me. I couldn't afford that at any cost.

The flight was short though and well, I still managed to receive fine glares from some girls just to have him by my side. The stones were rugged continuously but no ignition occurred due to the presence of teachers. Well, that was an anti-fight, anti-romantic flight but a cheerful and jolly one. Aside from everything, my mind wandered over Sophia, what on earth was wrong with her? We landed on Phoenix. He stepped down the flight and extended an open hand towards me, asking for mine.
We walked side by side when suddenly, a dart appeared out of the thin air and landed right before his step, a note carefully attached to it. We met each other's eyes, shocked, we froze on our steps.
