Love Isn't Always A Fairy Tale {Teacher/Student Romance}

Chapter 4- Lunch

I cannot have a crush on my teacher. That is just so bad… Oh god I am a whore!! I shake my head at myself as I walk into the lunchroom. I see Raeghyn at the end of the line along with Gage. I go and get in line behind them.

“Hey Sky how was Lit?” Gage asks and I glare at Rae. She holds up her hands as if in surrender.

“I didn’t say anything.” She says, and turns around to pick up her tray.

“What are you guys talking about?” Gage asks interested now.

“Nothing.” Me and Rae answer at the same time. I send her a grateful look. She smiles back.

“Oh it’s something alright.” Gage says looking back and forth at us. “I don’t know why ya’ll are trying to keep secrets from me. You know I will always find out.” Rae looks at me and we both sigh. We know he’s right, but this isn’t something I really want to tell Gage. I look at Rae and she shrugs.

We make it through the line, and get our food. Today they have pizza and salad. Have to have the “balanced” meal. Ha… We go and sit at our usual table which is in the corner near the exit doors. I sit with my back to the wall. Facing towards the lunchroom. Rae is sitting to my left, and Gage is to her left across from me. (Just so you know our tables are round so…)

“So are you going to tell me what’s going on?” Gage asks picking up his pizza and taking a bite looking at me.

“What are you looking at me for? Why do you assume it has to do with me?” I ask looking down at my plate and picking up my pizza.

“Well maybe because when I asked you how lit. went you sent Rae death glares.” Gage says laughing and pointing at Rae.

“I did not!”

“Yeah you kind of did Sky.” Rae says shrugging her shoulders. I look at them both and roll my eyes. I ignore them and go back to eating my pizza. That is until I see Ethan walk into the lunchroom.

I watch him walk to the front of the line, and get his plate. Teachers are special they don’t have to wait in line. Unless they want to. After he gets his plate he looks around the lunchroom like he is looking for someone. He stops when he spots me. I drop my pizza, which thankfully makes it on to the plate, and my mouth drops open.

 “Sky what is it?” Rae asks, before following my line of vision. She sees Ethan and smiles. “I see what it is now.” She says and this time I do send her death glares. Gage turns around now.

“Oh so it’s a guy.” He says wagging his eyebrows.

“No!” I almost shout at him.

“No it’s better than that.” Raeghyn says. “He’s a teacher… Our lit. teacher.” She adds before turning back and waving Mr. Knight over.

“Oh Sky has the hots for the English teacher? Shame on you Sky.” Gage says, smirking at me.

“Well I don’t think it’s a one way street.” Rae tells him just as Ethan reaches the table.

“Oh really now?” Gage asks looking up at him with raised eyebrows. If Ethan noticed it he done a good job of hiding it.

“Hello Miss Ryan,” He says nodding his head at Raeghyn, “Miss Evans.” He says, giving me a smile that made me feel like I was melting inside. I blush and smile back.

“Hey Mr. Knight would you like to sit with us?” Rae asks and I look at her.

“Sure if that’s okay.” He says looking at me and Gage.

“Fine with me. What about you Sky?”

“Fine with me…” I answer looking down at my plate. I can feel the chair next to me move. Why did I have to always sit in the corner seat? Oh yeah because I am a whore who has a crush on her teacher. I shake the thoughts from my head, and was about to pick up my pizza when I feel someone kick my hard under the table.
