The Date

Theon and Char arrived at a jewelry store down town of Sindel City after teleporting their bags of weapons back to the mansion. "So... This is the business that you wanted my opinion on?" Asked Char. "I mean... I don't really know much about the jewelry business but I guess it's a good investment..."

"That isn't what I meant... but it does sound like a good idea right now," said Theon as he walked in with her. He walked up to the counter with Char as a Sinderlo worker addressed them. "Yes, how may I help you?" Asked the Sinderlo looking at Char. "And um... May I ask what is wrong with... her? You are female right?"

"Yes, I am. You see, Anthro females have regular female body parts while Sinderlo females just have larger male body parts than the actual males. So, I think I should ask you. Are you a female?" Asked Char with a sense of anger in her eyes. The Sinderlo blinked a little, taken back by the comment.

"Um... yes then," said Theon. "Pick up for Murton."

"Oh... Oh! Yes, it's in the back," said the worker. They quickly hurried off as Char turned Theon around. "What did you do?" Asked Char.

"Well, you were concerned about your tails and well..." said Theon. The worker came back with two boxes and Theon payed with his credit card. They took the boxes and headed down the road to a restaurant. Char looked in the boxes half way down the street and froze. "Theon... Y-You didn't," said Char as she looked into one.

"Well, I figured that you wanted a way to control them as a single entity," said Theon, rubbing the back of his head. "Plus, you do seem to have it all under control."

"Yeah. Getting use to sudden extra limbs happens... The odd thing is, is that I don't even remember feeling the sudden pain of growing them... They just... Happened," said Char as she reached into the box. "But this..." She pulled out a series of white bands with a series of red gems in the center surrounded by gold.

"Yeah, the other one has black ones so you can get a single cover over your tail for the missions," said Theon. "Um... I was just..." Char wrapped her arms around him, holding him close. "Thank you," said Char holding onto her.

"Oh, i-it was nothing really," said Theon hugging her too, feeling the excess warmth from her. "I um... I..."

"Listen... I know I don't want to sound like one of those petty females that you can just buy over their love with just a small thing but... Um..."

"Hey um, mind if we get dinner first?"

"Hun? O-Oh yeah," said Char as she let go. "Let's get some dinner then I can tell you."

"Well, it is just the first date and all and... You know we don't need to rush this," said Theon, rubbing his arm while walking down the street.

"I know. I just... I just don't want to lose you," said Char trying to look into his eyes.

"Char... You won't... Trust me if it takes me years to break off an engagement that I didn't want to be in, it'll take a lot more for me to break up with someone I do care about..." said Theon looking at her, a smile coming to his face.

"You need to work on relationship speeches," said Char smiling as well.

"I know... I'm lucky I'm rich otherwise I'd be lonely forever," said Theon laughing lightly at his own situation.

"Nah, you're cute when being awkward. And you are plenty awkward."

"Oh, shut up..."

"C'mon. We got others waiting on us after dinner." She pulled him along and the two got to the restaurant, checking in at the front and being seated at the VIP seating in the back of the restaurant. "Wow... Fancier than any of the dates I've been on," said Char as she took in the scenery.
