It was close to the mid-after noon as the Gene Force was waiting at the location he told the others to meet at. The location was a small set of apartments recently purchased by Theon to be renovated for Anthros to reside in. The building was mostly just concrete and broken glass standing thirty floors tall. "So, we're just sitting around waiting for those fuckers to show up right? Then what? We gonna have tea and cookies?" Asked Cross as she looked out the front door window.
"No... I have an idea about what we're going to talk about," said Ashes as he leaned against the front desk. "Mostly about how we're going to find the Puppeteer."
"Yeah, I guess," said Inferno as she stood next to him. "Maybe we can just talk about some stuff, maybe about a permanent alliance."
"You're joking right?! They're terrorists," said Cross, shooting her a look over her shoulder.
"I know, but we don't know everything... The reason why they were there to begin with and there's also a bit of details that don't make sense... We need to know some more facts and the FID are more on the trigger-happy side at the moment," said Inferno.
"So, you're sympathetic to terrorists?" Asked Cross. "Ashes, please tell me you don't want to work with terrorists."
"Well... We don't actually know what they were there still... We can at least ask them about it when we have time," said Ashes.
"Oh, for the love of... You're not serious, are you?" Asked Cross.
"We don't know motive, we know our enemy then we'll be able to use that against them," said Ashes.
"I hate to say that he's got a point... but he does," said Halo from the other room looking out the window. "I see Schrodinger walking towards us... He looks good clean but there's still that white stuff on him."
"I don't have eyes on anything suspicious... I see Venic and Aerlo talking though. Nasty argument," said Nul' from the rooftop, looking through his binoculars.
"Any bloodshed on that battlefield yet?" Asked Ashes through the radio.
"Net... Lots or words though," said Nul'.
"So, it's a cold war," said Inferno.
"With no passion," said Schrodinger as he walked in. His black fur was cleaned off from the dirt but still had the hard, white skeleton on his body. He had a jacket with urban MARPAT camouflage on it with a pair of cargo pants with MARPAT camouflage as well. He had a large MTV vest with ballistic padding on his arms and legs. He had on a pair of black boots and black gloves. He had a black holster on his left hip that held a P30 pistol with a few sticks of C4 on his hip. He had an MG3 in his hands. His LMG had a for-grip, suppressor, shoulder sling, a laser aiming module, a large box on the base of the gun to hold more ammo, and a holographic sight. His pistol had a suppressor and laser aiming module.
"You still have some stuff caked on," said Ashes as he walked over to him, scratching at it with his paw.
"Nein... I zink it isn't just dirt or buildup of something. I fear it might be an exoskeleton. But I don't know ze extent of it," said Schro. "I... gave some thought into the idea into a possible name for when we're out shooting shit."
"That's not entirely what we do," said Ashes. "But please, let's hear it."
"I was zinking of the name Cerberus," said Schrodinger.
"Well it fits you," said Inferno with a smile.
"I say it works," said Halo.
"Da, agreed. Also tell whoever has their radio on to take their finger off of it," said Nul' over the radio.
