It was late at night as Theon was laying in his bed, staring at the ceiling with unblinking eyes. He was wearing a pair of black boxers and nothing else. His eyes started up at the heavens, waiting for a sign. I killed him... I killed him, thought Theon in his head. He's dead because of me... I didn't have a choice but... Why me? Why did I agree to this? Why!?

He heard a knock at his door and sat up, halfway looking at the door and halfway just wanting to do nothing. He heard another knock and decided to get up, walking over to it slowly. He opened the door to find Char on the other side of it. She had on a white night gown and her eyes were red and swollen from crying. "T-Theon... D-Do you mind if I... I talk to you for a bit?" Asked Char.

"Yeah... C'mon in," said Theon with a raspy voice himself. She walked in and Theon followed her, grabbing a pair of grey sweat pants on the table next to him. They sat on the bed after Theon put on the pants, looking down at the floor in the darkness, letting the silence creep in.

"I see his face whenever I close my eyes," said Char with a sigh to break the silence. "I see him... Running and I just... I can feel my rifle in my hands and... The recoil and... Why did I even think about this?!" She started to cry into her hands, her voice still raspy.

"Hey, it's alright... Calm down," said Theon as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in close to him. "H-He was a criminal... He was going to hurt others..."

"He didn't even turn around to shoot at me. He was running away... I... I shot a man who was running away damn it! It's wasn't like your's where we knew he was a threat. You had to shoot him. But... I didn't. I didn't need to pull the trigger. I could've just let him run away and..." She started to cry some more and Theon pulled her closer and into his chest. "It'll be okay... It's going to be alright... Please, just stop crying... You're going to hurt yourself if you keep doing that..." said Theon as he held her, trying not to tear up either.

"I-I shouldn't have..." said Char through the tears as she clutched onto his chest fur.

"Master Theon... Mrs. Sinder," said ARBTDE to interrupt them. "Dr. Intervet has some news for you in her lab."

"Um... Yes... W-We should probably go..." said Theon as he tried to comfort Char.

"Sure, why not... I wasn't going to sleep anyways," said Char as she tried to pull herself together.

The two got up and headed downstairs to Divine's lab. Her lab was tucked away in one of the spare bedrooms on the other side of the mansion. The floor had white tiles, white walls, and a white ceiling. It was filled with tables full of different devices and notebooks filled with information. Divine was there along with Rose and Zeillian.

"What is news?" Asked Zeillian. He was wearing only a pair of black athletic shorts at the time. Rose had on a pair of grey sweat pants and a grey hoodie. Divine had on a white shirt, a pair of grey sweat pants, and a pair of white sneakers. Her eyes were also red and puffy along with the fur around her eyes being wet. "Well... I have some information... To try and help everyone feel better," said Divine with a raspy and somber voice. "I ran some blood samples from the remnants on our clothes from the robbers."

"That's kindda messed up..." statedRose.

"Da," said Zeillian.

"Well, about that... I found out that a number of them had high amounts of Cardactimine in their bodies," said Divine as she pulled up a graph on a computer screen. "Enough for their negative side effects to go through."
