It was the mid-afternoon as Emperor Quenbeclar Zenchardo was sitting down for tea at his desk in the Emerald Palace. The Emerald Palace was located on the coast near Newlanding and was surrounded by walls and guards. It had a dark grey brick façade with a number of stain glass windows and a number of smaller buildings surrounding the courtyard with a large bridge leading to it over a large water way. Quenbeclar was a Sinderlo with short red hair and brown eyes and a number of mechanical circles around his body with holes in them.

"Y-Your highness," said a guard through the door. The office was a long room with black marble floors, dark red walls with one behind him being entirely windows, and a black ceiling with lights in it. His desk was a large dark wood structure with a large black leather chair behind it where he sat. The distance from the black door to the desk was fifty feet, measured by a maroon rug leading to his desk well kept by Anthro slaves.

"Yes. What is it?" Asked Quenbeclar looking up from his desk.

"S-Senator Charston has been killed... In an attack on his home... By Anthros with powers," said the guard barely coming into the room.

"Did the Gene Force commit this act?"

"N-No your highness. T-They tried to intervene to save him but... failed..."

"I see... Is Detective Dergon aware of the slave trade?"

"N-No your highness."

"Good... Please, come closer. I need to tell you something." The guard wearily approached the desk, slowly and carefully. He got to the desk as Quenbeclar stood up, his bloodshot eyes looking at him. "You see, I want you to stroke the fires between the two sides. The Gene Force and this... new group. Also, have our agent work with Dergon to find any information on who's on each side."

"Y-Yes sire... M-May I ask why?"

"It's simple really, of course if you paid attention," said Quenbeclar as he stood up and walked over to the window. "The collar laws are just the start of Project Omega. After that is passed all we have to do is to wait for a new tower to be built. Of course, the law will have the greatest strength if Anthros were seen as monsters and unhelpful to Sinderlos. With the Gene Force active people are starting to like Anthros. It is gradual but inevitable. This will hurt the chance of the law to be passed. We get this rouge group to be the poster children of Anthros, vile, hostile, and utterly evil, we can get the law to pass. Having the Gene Force look bad by this group will make Anthros seem unhelpful to our side as well. Thus, Sinderlos will want Anthros to have collars to keep them under control to make sure attacks don't happen again. After the collar laws are passed then we can proceed with the next step."

"Y-Yes sire... But how can we get the two forces to fight each other?"

"Use the media. That's what everyone does to control the masses."

"Yes sire. Is there anything else that I must handle for you?"

"Send word to the Governor of the UR. I want to talk to him in person."

"Yes sire." The guard quickly retreated out of the room as Quenbeclar worked at his desk. He pressed a button on the under side of his desk and two circular holes opened in the floor next to his desk. Two glass cylinders protruded from the floor. Both cylinders held an Anthro in each of them.

The first one was a male Anthro lion with short tan fur covering all of his body, a thick black mane around his neck and top of his head. He had pointed ears on the top of his head and his mouth and nose were a muzzle below his brown eyes. He had a long tail coming from the back of his hips that was covered with tan fur and had black fur at the end of it. He had claws on his hand and feet.

The second one was a female Anthro lion with short tan fur covering all of her body. She had pointed ears on the top of his head and her mouth and nose were a muzzle below her brown eyes. She had a long tail coming from the back of her hips that was covered with tan fur and had black fur at the end of it. She had claws on his hand and feet as well.

Both of them were stripped naked and bloodied with scars all over them."Now, I'm sure you both know what I'm going to ask," said Quenbeclar. "I've been asking it for years now. Even after all the torture, even after multiple persuasion attempts neither of you are willing to talk. However, I will ask nicely this one time. Where is the Frequency Breaker?"

"Hun? I didn't hear please, did you dear?" Asked the male lion.

"No, I didn't..." said the female lion. Quenbeclar pressed another button under his desk and the two lions were shocked from the base of the class cylinders. The two twitched in agony as Quenbeclar started at them with blank eyes. He stopped after a few times and the two struggled to gasp their breath.

"Now, Mr. Sadir, why do you think it's funny to mock me?" Asked Quenbeclar.

"You think it's funny to kidnap, torture, and hide a couple of scientists for over a decade? I mean, you're more fucked up than us," said the male lion with a broken smile. "I know that the Breaker is safe, and even if you killed both of us we'd lose more if we told you."

"You say that over and over again. But your close friends and backers are dead... you know that. No body remembers you. No heir to your genius. No witness to your strength against me. The only one that even has a chance is Theon, and he's still so overcome with grief of his parent's death to even try to figure it out."

"Yeah, after you killed them."

"Now who said that I did? Or did you just figure it out on your own? No matter, you're not going anywhere soon anyways." He continued to question the two, torturing them for information and leisure.
