“Why why why did I have to see that, Oh my God, my eyes. THEY BURN.” Tom shouted around the house and Harry and Haley tried to follow, he pulled out his phone and texted the first person he saw which was Harrison.

“Oh my eyes!” Tom said, dramatically.

“What the fuck are you talking about you didn't even see anything.”

“I have seen enough!” He said and fell back on the couch, but shot up as Haley entered the room, “YOU!” He pointed towards her, “EXPLAIN.”

“Tom can you drop the act, you're scaring her.” Harry said, already irritated by his older brother.

“No for real though, What the fuck? When did you two even happen? And why does no one know?” Tom asked looking directly at Haley, who looked at Harry, helplessly.

“Look it happened back when we moved to the house in Montreal. And I didn't want to tell anyone so it's on me.”

“So you've been screwing my co-worker for almost five months now?” Tom said, turning towards the living room.

“What? Screwing? Tom. I'm not screwing her—”

“What I just saw stated otherwise.”

“No, It's not like that I really I'm— I'm falling in love with her.” He said, realising what he had just said, “Yeah, I'm falling in love with Haley.” Harry said, smiling.

“You're what?” She said, smiling a little.

“My brother and Haley.” Tom said as he slowly sat down. “Harry and Haley. Oh my God, you guys this is great.” He said, getting up and hugging both of them.

“Get off of me.” Harry said, causing Tom to hug him tighter.

“Couldn't have done that earlier?” Haley said, “You were seriously scaring me.”

After they answered Tom's million questions, they both walked outside towards the garden, Harry swung his hand into Haley's.

“I can do this now.” He said, she smiled back at him. He stopped, and lightly pulled her towards him, “I can do this too.” He pulled her face towards her and kissed her.

“The press can't get involved in this yet.” Harry said.

Haley's smile dropped a bit, “Wait, why not?”

“The world can't know about us yet, trust me, i'm doing this for you, for us.”

“Okay.” Haley said still confused, as he kissed her cheek. Haley began to question this.

Harrison froze in his steps, he felt a sinking feeling in his heart, something he hadn't felt before, he turned and started walking back to his house, he got inside his dog monty, ran to greet him. He didn't pet him back and went straight upto his room, and closed the door behind him, as monty walked in. He sat on his bed, stunned. He didn't understand how Harry and Haley. His Haley. He felt betrayed, but he had no authority to feel betrayed, he wasn't her boyfriend, he was just her friend, he fell back as he felt a sting in his eyes. Monty came and snuggled next to him and he just lied there for the next few minutes.
