Haley woke up, her pillow still wet from tears and drool. She groaned and got up, brushed her teeth, buttoned her pyjamas shirt. She wanted to sleep in one of Harry's flannel but she couldn't right now. She couldn't find it in her heart to, she walked towards her window, drew the curtains, the light hit her eyes, immense blinding pain struck through her head, as she shielded them with her palms and closed the curtains. The fresh smell of England filled her room immediately. She walked over to the mirror, in the dim light, she couldn't recognize the girl she saw, pale skin, dark circles, messy hair, tear lines, mascara under her eyes, dry lips, and an overall tired face. She had been a mess.

A soft knock came on her door. She groaned in response. A curly haired Freddie opened the door lightly.

"Hey Hales, you plan on getting out of bed today? Oh you're out listen-" He got cut off by Haley running and hiding underneath her covers again. "Hales, c'mon, it's been two and a half weeks."

"No, they get back from Montreal today. I'm not leaving today." She said, her voice, muffled from under the covers. Freddie sighed and got into bed with her.

"Haley you can't stay in bed forever."

"Yes I can, my bed is my friend, it gives me warm blanket hugs." She said pulling the covers from Freddie, who scooted closer. She turned around, tears welled in her eyes, she hated crying all she did for the past few weeks was cry, he hugged her from the back,

"I'm sorry, Hales. It sucks what they did to you. You don't deserve this, you wanna watch a movie today hm?" He said, hugging his sister tighter. She nodded,

"With the jalapeno popcorn?"

"And liquorice." He replied. "The only condition is you take a shower and wear something other than that goddamn grandfather night suit." She laughed and wiped her tears.

"Okay fine. But straight to the store and home okay?"

"Hales I'm 16 now. I think I can handle going to the store alone."

"No you're not. You're Freddie, you're small, you're still baby." She said, as she started crying again, "You're growing up too much too, Oh God, why? everything sucks." She finished, burying her face in her pillows again.

"Haley, shower now." He said. She made an annoyed face, picking up the towel and walking into the bathroom.

Freddie walked out of the room. Their whole apartment was a mess. He forgot what a relief it was to have Haley around, she would keep the place clean and now that she was depressed about her break up, the entire living room was messier than ever.
He combed his hair, grounding his wild curls a bit, put on a brown sweater, hell we need to go shopping, he thought to himself, as he found himself wearing one of the two outfits he always wore, on his way out he decided to grab an apple from the fridge, he saw a picture of Haley and Harry on the fridge. Haley smiling as the douche was kissing her forehead, the scenery full of orange and slightly green leaves, the sight made his blood boil, he wanted to punch the guy in the face for breaking his sister's heart, Freddie had thought about what it would be like to kick the bastard in the stomach several times. He took a long look at it, yanked it off crumbled it and threw it in the bin.
